Multiplayer server has numerous missing ID's. How do I fix my server's problem since Singleplayer works fine with the same exact mod files?
Single player working means nothing.
Is this your own server? If it is, copy the chisel.cfg file from the config folder to the config folder on the server. If this isn't your own server are you sure the server is running the same version chisel mod? Your config file for the chisel mod needs to match whatever the server is running.
It looks like there IS support for a chisel block coming in a new update that was released by someone who is not the original poster. It's a few pages back so I missed it when I posted as well. Keep watching, maybe we'll get a new thread along with the new person working on it.
Personally though I'd still be a fan of allowing OreDict conversions...

Which is why Deltas version of the mod 1.6.1.5 supports the ore dictionary!
I know you already made "Factory" Blocks and there is also the "Futuristic Armor" Blocks, but I still think there should be a few more uhh... "Spacy" blocks? They could be another block added that, maybe a bit of an end game item, but it could be changed. For now, it could be crafted with a piece of endstone, gold nuggets at each corner, and 4 stone on the top, bottom, and sides. it would result in 32 "Space Blocks". I probably couldn't come up with designs for the blocks... but if you want insperation for them, take a gander over at SMP's 2263 Texturepack for MC 1.5.X.
Another "suggestion" could be maybe chisel type plants? I think some interesting plants could be cool. Maybe it would be similar to the other blocks in which you take any of the "plant" items and chisel them. You could even use the Painterly Pack plants just to have some textures!
One last thing, I loved it when I saw the crate type items for Gold, Iron, and Obsidian, but was sad when there weren't any for Redstone, Quarts (normal block, not pillar), Fancy Quarts, Diamond, Lapis, and Emeralds! If you could maybe try to make a variation for them so they could have a crate type item (the 4x4 cubes with wood panel type stuff on the side). Those would look really cool and would be perfect for my Ware House for my blocks (I'm using the CoFH Core and have probably to many diamonds!) If you could look into that it would be amazing!

Of everything you said the most interesting was your mention of COFH core and having too many diamonds, my question is what the hell are you talking about?
I would support the chiseling of flowers, as you suggested.
Also if you can point to some texturepacks which have copyrights allowing for unlimited distribution and/or unlimited rights to profits in there copyrights which give any themes you want, or make your own textures, the sky is the limit. as to what could be added
Most of the textures that are included in this mod, with the exception of some weren't made from scratch and instead are from the panterly pack (the first texturepack ever made for minecraft!)

probably meant how you can configure COFHcore to change ore spawn rates, its not a default configuration, but you can set it up like that. The technic modpacks Hexxit and Attack of the bteam have it set up like that to spawns lots of ores at all levels.

Oh, okay, I honestly didn't know that was in that mod, I thought it was a core mod just like every mod, after doing some research I releazed its got a lot of neat little features hidden in there, definitely something I didn't expect

@ZekCarnage thanks for helping clear that up, yes, CoFH Core is a mod that can run on its own, and is needed for Thermal Expansion and other mods made by the CoFH team. To what I said about the "Space Blocks" and their textures, I was only saying that if you wanted insperation for the textures, go look at that texturepack, I'm also pretty sure that if you talked to SMP he'd be more than happy to let you use the textures (tho maybe not for free... he did take a while developing them...). While thinking about things, how the textures would look and how I could work them into my Wear House, I thought: "I really wish I could change the logs..." then I thought: "Well.. I can chisel these planks... but why on earth can't I chisel the logs? I mean, it only makes sense!". So I think it would be cool if you could also chisel the logs, in particular... having a chisel set to one of the rotations of the logs... Forge Micro Blocks (that mod... omg, omg, that mod) is a bit finicky when trying to add ID's to determine what blocks and be chopped up... and I've always wanted to make it so you could chop up sideways logs, but then I thought "crap... the only way to get them is if you cheat them in... so you can't get them legit in Survival mode", If Chisel made it so you could chisel the logs, maybe giving one option as the sideways logs (only two, top facing north/west, and top facing east/west, because the log has two open ends), and maybe even that crazy fancy log that all the server's use that has the log side texture on all sides, I've always wondered how they get that and have never figured it out (probably involves using a special command...) also with being able to chisel the logs, it opens up about... 4 logs... if the above is implemented, 3 desinges already... about, 9 more options, all of which can come from Painterly, because they have some amazing stuff!
I just had a thought, Painterly has about a billion different mushrooms, but Minecraft only has 2... what if Chisel took advantage of those million different mushrooms, and maybe made 3 or 4 different ones, just for aesthetic perpouses... One in particular that I love in painterly, is the Slime Shroom one, the little mushrooms that look like frog eggs, I've always wondered what THOSE would look like if they had a multi block structure... the closest you can get is maybe a mushroom core (the mushroom block with the inside on all faces) in the middle, and then some glass (and in 1.7 light blue/lime green/white stained glass), I think it would be amazing if AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN took the time to try and make maybe 2-3 more multi-block mushrooms.
Sorry for the wall 'o text, if you take the time to pick thru it and find a weak point and comment on it, I'd apreciat it! (sorry for bad spelling too)
Not sure if here is still a correct section to report bug report regarding 1.7.2 Chisel mod, but MC crashed every time I try to destroy any carpenter block that contains any "chiseled" ice block in any aspect, regardless it's a whole block or just part of it.

17.2 chisel mod is being developed by someone else independantly, I might suggest asking him directly, There is no way for me to answer any questions about it because I don't know the mod specifically, and I'm not really interested in testing it out.

Okay, so as you can see, it seems that chisel mod is losing textureness of a texturepack. The texturepack I am using is Sphax SVP 128 for Strawberry Vanilla mod pack. Also, I use Sky Factory mod pack, Vattic Mod support texture pack, and the same thing happens. Also, another thing to note, is that Sky Factory is 1.6.4 and Strawberry Vanilla is 1.7. I'm not so technically inclined with java but, usually I can find out how to fix something on my own, by my own research, out of the 40 pages, I haven't seem something like this.
Things i've tried -
1: using no java parameters
2: using default graphic settings
3: updating java
4: tried using it with Optifine and w/o
From what I see, I don't know what else I could do.
the mod versions on both mod packs, are up-to-date.
Copying the config from SP to the server config files worked. I didn't know that it'd work since I see server files are different beings.Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
