WOW!! So many cool blocks I don't know what to build first!! It might take me a good week to check them all out. Me and my son love building so this mod makes it a whole new world! Thank you for this awesome luxury!! Great mod
None of my stairs will bend around a corner like regular stairs placed on a corner. And I can't place slabs on the upper half of a block, they just keep getting placed on the bottom. Any ideas? or fix? Thanks
This mod completely revolutionized the way I build things in minecraft. I hope we get to see it around the mod scene for many versions to come! As a suggestion, could you consider updating the stairs code for the mod's stairs to be able to be placed upside-down and on corners akin to the stock stairs?

Is Automatic Maiden still working on this mod? I haven't seen anything posted since April 25th and would love to see this mod more fleshed out and complete. Maybe even adding support for other mods such as Natura, Extreme Biomes, etc.
This is actually a really cool mod. So much to build with =D
One question, though: Are there any texture packs that currently support this mod? (I'm really looking for a Faithful or something along those lines, but anything works)

The download was updated 6-7 hours ago, so I'm sure it's being worked on
Great mod! Perhaps adding cracked bricks? I can't make textures, so I can't send you any ideas of what it would look like, but I think it would be cool.

1.4.4 is still the latest, so I am not sure what you are referencing. And Watchful11 pointed out the datestamp. More telling is the absence of the author from this thread, however. Heck, my inquiry was not responded to for 9 days, until you did.
As for your texture pack question... I was working on a Sphax addon (you can check their request thread for examples of the work I was doing), but if this mod is not going to be worked on any longer, it's not worth the effort. I would almost rather take the concept of this mod and build upon it. Seems like that would be time better spent.
How are you supposed to make Ice Blocks drop Ice Shards? Shards are enabled in my config, but they haven't been dropping for me. The Ice just turns into water as usual...:/
Serg86: I have made the decision but don't know when I'll go about implementing it. Sorry.
moonra: no, this seems like an error, I'll have a look into it.
darkmatterx3: you need to post error logs.
Isha_OmbraeL: if you make textures, I might add them.
pivot99: adding upside down blocks will at least require more block IDs, and depending on how it's done may break existing creations. I'm not sure when I'll be doing this, sorry.
ohaioman: yes, you can, it's included into the .jar download.
I_IKrimnessI_I: the config file has all settings and detailed explanations next to them.
DeskPop: as it is right now, you can't do any of that. You can only re-texture my block, and their names will remain the same. Removing or adding blocks depending on which texture pack you have choosen seems like a very bad idea...
Aappleyard: have they responded yet? I see it as an issue with their blocks, not mine...
Wishes: does it melt even when you put it into appropriate biomes? I thought it didn't...
Zabadar:
swords and armor: No. Building only.
woold (wool?): I don't have a lot of idea about what can be done from wool. What exactly do you have in mind?
Nokuru: works for me, try newer version. I have a lot of screenshots there using karionix shaders.
Cyrilshark: Well, those ARE different blocks... carve them back to original wood and use that, carving is free.
skijlu95: either what OloloZerg suggested, changing block IDs manually in config file, or using the block ID resolver mod (that's what I prefer).
msmith: no plans. This would require even more block IDs. Every pillar would take 3 block IDs instead of one, for example.
Jharii: I am working on it, although with huge breaks. If you want to fork it, the source code is included in the download. If you want to contribute features, I'd be glad to collaborate.
brokenxnote: well, only chiseled blocks drop shards. You'll still have to harvest ice with silk touch. Originally, all ice was supposed to drop shards, but since then people were having a lot of trouble with the mod replacing default blocks, and so now Ice is unchanged and acts like usual. If you set "override vanilla blocks" to false and start in a new world, ice will drop shards.
atrapper510: the last paragraph of my original posts addresses your request. The first sentence: as long as you do not change my mod, you may use it any way you want.

Awesome to see you back around AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN.
Got a couple bugs to report.
Most of the stair blocks, at least the ones I've tested, do not break properly. This message is logged to the console every time one is broken and nothing drops.
2013-07-01 21:51:55 [WARNING] [ForgeModLoader] Attempted to add a EntityItem to the world with a invalid item: ID 2769 at (690.40, 4.62, 1072.36), this is most likely a config issue between you and the server. Please double check your configs
This is on ssp with the default configs.
All three snake body blocks drop their respective heads when broken and the heads drop unnamed blocks with the same id, but a data value of 25.
Also, I know the players on my server would appreciate both turnable pillars and upside down stairs/slabs. I don't mind at all allocating more block ID's.
A new version for 1.5.2 is out, with most of bugs I've seen reported fixed:
Features:
- Slabs can be placed upside down.
- Stairs can now be placed upside down and work similarly to vanilla stairs.
- Added variations for redstone block.
- Added holystone block, crafted with 8 stones and 1 feather.
- Added lavastone block, crafted with 8 stones and 1 bucket of lava.
Fixes:
- Snakes drop proper blocks when broken.
- Creatures no longer drown in concrete.
- Stair blocks break properly.
- Stairs render properly even when a block is placed on top of them.
Additionally, if you upgrade your existing world to this version, stair blocks will be broken. Sorry for that.
Link is in OP.
Djohaal: I'm glad that someone is finally uploading his creations, but it's too damn dark to see anything! Well, at least particles are clearly seen...
dannietg2L: if you make chiseled clay textures, sure...

Um download still aare only up to chisel-1.5.2-1.4.4. so did you forget to upload this new version?

Can you provide a source for that? I just see this line on the mediafire page

Did you guys think about adding some balance adjustments btw? like damaging the chisel every time you craft
