I Was Wondering If It Was Possible To Make It So That When I Use Your Mod With SEUS v08 Lite shaderpack, If I can make the SEUS leaves on and the waving plants leaves off? It Would Be appreciated if you could tell me how to do such a thing.
You can just turn off the waving plants moving leaves in the shaderpacks and have the SEUS ones on.
I love the idea, I have a fairly bad laptop and can only just run GLSL shaders, I installed this as a shaderpack but when I click on it and click Done it doesn't seem to load the shaderpack, I use the chopacic or whatever its called shaderpack because its the only one that works for me. My laptop specs are:
Intel Celeron Dual Core Proccessor
Windows 7
2GB of RAM,
Not sure about graphics card but I think its a Intel one.
Also any clues on how to make the shaders less laggy for me? Thanks!
Does the grass and leaves wave in Chocapic13's shaderpack? If not it probably means that the waving effect is incompatible with Intel graphics.
To make the shaders less laggy you can turn down your Minecraft settings and disable features in the shaders.
Hmm. Is it possible to get this to work with mods? For example, biomes o plenty.
I messed around a little and managed to get fire to 'wave' correctly, but I really don't know java very well and don't know how minecraft references itself at all.
I'm assuming I can't get certain IDs because they're not in some specific file/list/location, like in minecraft.jar, and thus the shaders don't know what I'm talking about when I throw in some IDs? Or am I way off.
Great mod regardless. All the other shaders out there seem to have crazy fast waves going on, but yours has that perfect windy look.
i would like this too, as i really like the waving leaves, brings life to the game
Yes you can, you can edit item id's in the .vsh file to make other things wave.
i don't know how to change or where to start to chage to get the other leaves from a mod pack to work, would it be possible for extra help to guide or show how to change the gbuffers_terrain.vsh to make other leaves from mod packs work? thank you in advance.
Ah, sorry. I don't think I was completely clear in my last post.
I did try adding in the IDs for items/blocks from biomes o plenty. For example, I added in bamboo which has the ID 1927. Like I said before, I simply copied some other settings and changed the ID and managed to get fire to wave, so I know what I'm trying works. I've also done it with some things like stone or dirt, just to make sure it's working.
That being said, anything I try from biomes o plenty just doesn't seem to work at all. I've tried blocks, leaf blocks, flowers, grass, ect. I'm PRETTY CERTAIN I'm using the correct IDs since I'm getting them directly from the config file for biomes o plenty and have even checked them in-game with the [outdated] ID resolver mod.
So I'm wondering if there's something I'm not understanding.
Like I said before, I'm not really too sure how minecraft handles mods OR shaders. I'm not sure how forge loads mods into minecraft or if the shaders even interact with the mods loaded from forge.
Great mod! Chocapics shader won't move the grass atm (trees are fine), so I was happy to find your shader files. So far they are working great. One little request: Please compare chocapics tree movement with yours: His are WAY more realistic. I could describe it but changing shaders is no big deal and you really should look at it.
Download V1 of the shaders if you want leaves that move the same as Chocapic's shaders.

I'll try to resolve this when I have some time to play around with it, it's exam week :/
Can you make the waving more like in the video? Whenever I get these shaders, the grass and leaves and everything move so SLOWLY that I can't see it. Please fix this!
EDIT: I see this isn't a glitch...Can you make another version without the slow movement, and make it like how it was in the video?

There aren't any shadows... I don't know if there aren't supposed to be any or if my minecraft is messed up.. Please HELP!
The water and lava also don't look any different.
The shadows are from Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders, also what do you mean the water and lava don't look different? If your talking about clear water you need Sonic Ether's Shaders.
2 Problems.. Do i need Forge for that? (im confused that it has no Modloader but it said Optional, i guess)
And does it work for Coterie Craft? (I think it will for MCPatcher or Optifine but just correct me)

No Forge is completely optional, yes it works with Coterie Craft.
Now I know that this isn't really the area but I have no clue where is, sp I love the lighting of Chocapic but the waving plants and moving stuff in it makes me lag, would I be able to turn off all movement with keeping the lighting and the clear water? If so how would I because all these FSH files are a bit confusing and there aren't really any tutorials on it either. I play mostly with default texturepack.

Go into gbuffers_terrain.vsh and add // infront of all the #define WAVING_

No rush at all. Was just throwing it out there. Thanks for the feedback!
It only requires the GLSL Shader mod.

Can you explain it a bit more?

Go into gbuffers_terrain.vsh and add // infront of all the #define WAVING_
Go to my first post and there's a section for faster waving plants.
Can you explain this again?
Which version of the shaderpack is this happening in?
