I've successfully downloaded this mod, but every time I click the Waving Plants v3.1.zip in my Shaders, a message keeps coming up saying: Error: Invalid Program qbuffers_terrain. in my chat.
What does this mean? Can my laptop not handle this mod?
I also tried this on a MacBook with a clean install of minecraft. All I had was forge and shadermodcore installed this time. Same error...
[14:29:53] [Server thread/INFO]: RenegadeXR joined the game
[14:29:53] [Client thread/INFO]: [CHAT] [Shaders] Error : Invalid program gbuffers_terrain
All the logs just say Invalid gbuffers_terrain, have you tried updating the graphics drivers? I'll keep looking into it when I have some more time but for now you can keep using V2.8.
You'll have to give me a bit because my dad built my computer out of different parts so its really wacky and hard to find info on it .-. Anyway do you think the problem might be that I'm on a server?
EDIT: How do you get specs? I'm really young so :/

No playing on a server should't make a difference. You can check your specs by downloading HWMonitor and also are you running the latest drivers for your graphics card?

I have updated my graphics card recently (2 days ago). Also, I don't get an error message, it says shaders initialized, but nothing happens so...
Well, sonic ether's shaders turn my screen white and any other shaders crash minecraft (or rather just send it back to the launcher without a crash report).
EDIT: I've only tried some shaders, I will go get some more and test them.

If the majority of them don't work it probably means that your graphics card doesn't support the mod.
Same here. I did some testing, and the issue starts in version 2.9, which is where the mod author says he rewrote a lot of code.
System:
2013 iMac
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M
OS X 10.9.4
Software:
Minecraft 1.7.10
Forge 1.7.10-10.13.0.1178
OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_A4
ShadersModCore-v2.3.17-mc1.7.10-f1160
Alright I think I've found the problem, download V3.2 and tell me if it works now.
Thanks, but I'm still seeing the same identical error.
Works great now and no more Error popups.
Can you provide me with a log of your client when you enable the shaderpack?
Do you want any one particular log file?
I saw the following logs, which may or may not be relevant. I zipped them to the below archive:

So the V3.2 aren't working for you? Can you provide me with a log and your system specs?

What graphics card do you have?
Do any other shaders work for you? Just my friend with a card from the same series to test it and its working for them. Their running Catalyst 13.9.

PS: Good mod
