I know that you are aware of this, but this is a base class edit. Base class edits shouldn't be nessecary, please try to fix it, I'll incorparate it in my mod if you do Cheers, Dragon

Only for development. Forge makes all fields public at runtime when run outside of MCP. All the base edits are is for developing in MCP. You do not need to package the modified class when packaging your mod.

Hey guys, so I just released a standalone mod for DeveloperCapes to be used with modpacks. It's pretty straight forward on how to add the cape info file. Just open the JAR and change "capeInfo.json." More information in the main post. By the way, I've also changed the license on DeveloperCapes to the MIT Open Source license, which can be found here.

Jadar if you want a good sig for your modifier/tool then you should look at CobraHeskis topic. He does awesome ones
The link you gave me only adds text to the file i was hoping that it would be a form that you type in your username and hit a button and adds it to the cape.txt

So write a PHP or HTML form to do it.. I'm no expert on forms so I can't help you there, sorry.
Do you mean making the mod and adding it to the modpack or putting it in without a custom mod in the modpack?
I'll try. I've been really busy this week and still will be this coming week with vacation and Modjam.

Oh, I did not know that! Thank you very much
I mean making it so people I choose have capes.
Hmm, find a PHP script to append a text file.
Sorry if my suggestion is weird, I only learn installations from videos. I don't really like text-type instructions. Really sorry.
okay
EDIT: Can't really find one. Do you know how to code one?
No problem.

Hmm, i suppose I could work out a way in-game, but that would be a bit much IMO.

What do you need?
It's actually in a GitHub branch. It says 1.5.1 but I think it should work with 1.5.2. https://github.com/Jadar/DeveloperCapes/tree/1.5.1
Oh, Thanks. I didn't see that.
