I tried it with capes.json to.
But wait, is the Standalone version I got, DevCapesStandalone-2.1-1.6.2.jar, 1.6.2?
That would make lot of sence, because I use it for 1.7.2...
Is there an update for 1.7.2 version to?
Now, I have downloaded the 1.7.2 version, and Forge load it.
But, I don't got any cape.
The capes.json file I use is: https://www.dropbox....geay/capes.json
And yes, I have set the URL from the download button, and removed that long text behind it, but it still doesn't work.
There are no errors, from what I can see.
Isn't it better to use a URL? Now I need to update the mod, and ModPack, all the time, to add a new cape for someone, and that isn't very handy. Because I want that people can buy a cape too, but now I need to release a new version of the ModPack first, but when I use the URL, I can just edit the file, and he/she has the cape. From the releases page on Github: Maybe because of the URL, and some people likes that more?
You're totally right. I remember thats why I did that in the first place. I totally forgot and I changed it. So sorry about that. I'll have another release soon.
Hello, I have almost fixed all the code to make it compatible with 1.6, I am getting just one issue and I'm unsure on how to fix this. the error is
Cannot make a static reference to the non-static method getLogger(String) from the type LogManager
for the code
public static final Logger logger = LogManager.getLogger("DevCapes");
Well, I don't believe what you're doing will work. Things change between 1.6 and 1.7. There is a branch on the GitHub repo with 1.6.4 code. No need to backport. https://github.com/jadar/DeveloperCapes/tree/1.6.4

Making a program that auto adds this lib intoit is near impossibl becuase each modder has a unigue coding style and class names. Therfore the user trying to do this would need to know the exact path and name of the class files needing editing along with the line number to put it on

Ya. 2.1 is for 1.6.4. 3.0 is for 1.7.2. The config is different for both of them. Downloads are here.
Send me your JAR.

Read the documentation please. It explains everything.
Alright, great!
These are where the errors are happening:
DevCapes.java
HDImageBuffer.java
DefaultUser.java
When I do the Quick fix, the cape doesn't show up in-game. Is there a fix to this?
How about making an program to input the code into a uncompiled mod?
(Just to make things easy)

Are you sure? Because as far as I can see they never said that
