I absolutely love this shader, however i wish i could get it running with a water shader or any of the various wavy plant shaders.
Every attempt i make at modifying this one to use the water shader from SEUS or Chocapic13's shaderpack ends in something screwed up cause i have hardly any idea how to do it.

Hey, glad you like it! An option for waving plants is coming in the next update, and I've got something in the works for water as well. My dev machine doesn't have some of the graphics features that Chocapic13 and SonicEther use for their water shaders, so I'm stuck using hacky workarounds. I'll look into making this more compatible though.
I've been using this when I record Adventure maps for Youtube channel.
This is the first (and for the moment only) video:
I don't know maybe it makes for a good showcase of the Shader in action in a fairly nice adventure map.
This is an awesome shader. I had to find a good texture pack for it, and I found the outlines to be too thick initially - I halved the line size, it's perfect. But I've been playing with it all day, and I think I'm going to be using this on a regular basis. I'm in love with the cel shaded look. Now if only the texture pack would play nice with my mods...
I saw that waving plants might be coming soon? That'd be awesome.

Hey Naelego, I ran into something that I don't know how to adjust. I would light to adjust the sun/moon brightness, maybe individually if possible. I have no idea how I would edit this. I know I could take out the adjust light thingy out of the texture pack, but I actually want it in there for the effect.
Pretty happy with how this looks at night and in caves. https://www.dropbox....cel shader post
But during the day from the sunlight it's too dark. I believe the torch light is redder than daylight so a fix shouldn't be red like that everywhere. Feel free to post the night pictures after the fix.
I know this hasn't been updated yet, but when using version 1.0.3 on Minecraft 1.5.2 I get these parallel lines on the horizon:
Mods:
Optifine_1.5.2_HD_U_D2
ShadersMod-mc1.5.2-ofuD2-1.45.2
Forge #684
ZansMinimap1.5.2 (Removing this seems to get rid of one of the lines. The other seems to be persistent)
System:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
AMD Phenom II x4 940 Black Edition (Overclocked to 3.5 GHz)
G.SKILL DDR2 1066 4GB (3GB allotted to Minecraft)
HIS IceQ X2 Radeon HD7970 (1075 MHz Core, 1500 MHz Memory, Latest Beta Drivers)
OCZ Vertex 60GB SSD

minimaps aren't compatible with the shader mods first of all
And the horizon line is actually the shaders drawing a line at the edge of the render distance, try using a different render distance.
Also for your convenience, upgrade forge and Shaderpacks are compatible for all minecraft versions as long as a shader mod is installed

I have no problems using a minimap with any other shaders.
This appears to be the only one that has any sort of adverse effect, although I suppose it's do to the fact that this shader is meant to define borders while most others do not.
I figured the one line was the horizon, it just seems intrusive if I'm in an outdoor environment.
Even setting the render distance to extreme doesn't do much to help.
I didn't think the shaders needed to be updated to support newer versions of Minecraft.
I was simply basing that assumption on this:
...I just released version 1.0.3, but it isn't 1.5 compatible. If you guys have any suggestions or bug reports, please post them.
I was thinking this issue might be more along the lines of an issue with GLSL for 1.5.2 since it is not a completed release but was hoping that there might be a configuration edit I could use to resolve it.
Sorry for being so inactive on this mod, I've been super busy with school and life. I get off in two weeks, and I'll be able to devote some more time to it then-- There's a couple things in the works that I'm excited about working on. I'll throw up a 1.0.4 right now with the horizon fixed, and then move on to 1.1 for the new planned features.
@oCh33sYo: When I said it wasn't 1.5 compatible, I meant that Karyonix's mod wasn't compatible at the time; IIRC this was on the assumption that most people would have updated to 1.5 and so therefore my new release would be irrelevant. Sorry for the confusion!
@Hoto: The lighting is supposed to be quantized like that, I agree it could look a little nicer... As for the fencepost thing, I've never seen that before. I'll look into it.

i found that these shaders play very nicely with the minecraft ideas mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1727357-151-minecraft-ideas-mod-v3/
and the better animations mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1576726-151-the-better-animations-collection/
also, glimmars steampunk texturepack looks pretty good with it.
Banner not official, just a modified old TloN banner.
