I've been busy, but I finally got some time to work on the shaders today. I'm redesigning them from the ground up, and so far I've finished the HDR engine:
I have to add fog effects and (of course) the outlines, as well as clean up any errant bugs, but expect a new release within the next two weeks Sorry to keep you guys waiting! (Assuming there is anyone who still follows this mod...)
Looks like you'll be able to make this into a resource pack now thanks to the new snapshot!
I looked into the new feature, but it only allows for post-processing afaik and so it doesn't have a lot of the special features required to get this working :/ With the new shaders mod being so easy to install, however, it's a non-issue xD
How can I add waving leaves/grass into the shader?
If you find a shader pack that does have waving plants, you should be able to copy over the necessary code from the "gbuffers_terrain.vsh" file without any problems. One of the reasons I personally haven't added the feature is that the outlines make waving plants look very scratchy and noisy, but you may not mind.
I have an error when using this shader. Minecraft works fine, but when I click the shader in the shaders menu, it freezes and pops up with a java error. I have version 2.0.1 of Shaders mod and have tried both version 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 of your shaders. Please help.
10/10 Probably the best shader out there! It reminds me of borderlands, and zelda... with both using cell shaders it would make sense!
I found it looks best with Sphax pureBD craft, mostly because this shader was meant to look like a comic book / cartoon... and so was Sphax... Keep up the Amazing work!
Is it intentional that not all edges are shaded in? Some parts of that snow screenshot bug me. (Some on the others, but the most on the snow one)

The mod can't update (MCP hasn't updated yet) which means this isn't going to be updated for 1.7.2 until MCP + The shaders mod is updated
Mac user here to say it runs flawlessly on a mac
