That should just cause lag when it's loaded. I think it's got something to do with mobs spawning, as it starts off fine and drops steadily once night hits and they start spawning in the graveyard above ground.
Edit: It's definitely to do with the amount of mobs spawning, even above ground it's impossible to approach the graveyard on the surface. If I manually set the time to 0 I can explore with a normal framerate until it hits the event that sets it to night again, at which point my FPS drops to single digits. Is there a way to turn off the dungeon changing the time without disabling graves spawning mobs at all? It's still plenty dark in there for a large but not game killing amount of mobs to spawn as long as there aren't the dozens of them also spawning on the surface.
Yes it is possible. Set "EnableNightStone" to "false".
Also you can reduce mobs spawn rate by graves by next options: "GravesMobsSpawnChance", "GravesMobsSpawnRate".

Did you mean "GravesMobsSpawnRate"? This is a minimal amount of tics which should be passed before mob will be tried to spawned by grave. If you set it lower than 600 it will be automatically changed to 600. If you'd like to reduce mob spawn you should increase it.
"GravesMobsSpawnChance" - is a chance to spawn mob by grave. By default it set to 80%. You could reduce it to decrease amount of spawned mobs.
The last critical bug in 1.11 version of "extended module" was fixed yesterday. I should test it a little to be sure that everything works fine. So "Extended" part of the mod for Minecraft 1.11 will be released in a few days.
I'm planning to spawn special mobs at players death(if "curse" effect is active). This skeleton will not despawn(even on peaceful mode), and has a chance to escape death - instead of it it will break apart on a piles of bones for a while and assemble again.

Replace "StructuresDimensionId" configuration option by "StructuresDimensionIds" - it takes list of dimension ids, splitted by ";", in which structures generation allowed.
Decrease a little additional damage of "Shadow of Death" enchantment.
Increase time of "Poisoned Blade" and "Withered Blade" enchantments.
Small changes in "Bone Swords" models.

Are you asking about "only graves" version without other blocks, items world gen and other? Basic "graves" version for this case - it contains only graves, and nothing else.

In case you prefer another "grave" mod, but like other content of "extended" part of my mod - you can disable grave generation in configs, so my mod will be compatible with others

I fixed compatibility problems with "sophisticated wolves" mod and night stone "curse" effect in new update of "Gravestone mod - Extended" - 1.0.10.
It should be the last update for Minecraft 1.11.2(in case of no bugs in it) - so I'm going to work on update for Minecraft 1.12.2
