i sent him the core.cfg and moon.cfg, those were the only files in the config folder
I didn't mean the entire galacticraft config folder, I mean the entire config folder for every mod. I don't mean to sound condescending but you didn't specify so I'm going to mention it just in case: every mod on the client and server has to have matching ID configs or there will be a conflict so to make sure they are the same you can just copy the entire config folder over.

i sent him every single config on the server, the configs on the server match my client, and it is still saying id 259 mismatch.
he should call it the moon mod because HE HASN'T ADDED 1 PLANET AND THIS MOD HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 5 MONTHS NOW so add some planets PLEASE
This is a WIP (Work In Progress) mod. But i don't understand why would he a have to recreate this mod. The original had 11 new planets (, including the moon). My brother thought they were very buggy and had to be removed. But when the Yogcast and the DaveChaos played it just fine.
And I can't play it because it needs the new Indev version of forge.
Anyone knows if has a way to this to work with the latest industrialcraft?
Download latest working IC2 and GC dev builds, they should work together. But you also need to install Basic Components (currently in 1.5.1 but it also works with Minecraft 1.5.2 and mods). This how it should work but GC breaks Basic Components now and you can't craft anything. Everything is ok in 1.5.1 version of mods and Minecraft
Quick question: How tall is the rocketship, exactly? I'm working on hollowing out part of a mountain for my launch facility and I need to know how deep to make the compartment?

I made a quick playtest of the Moon's boss and its dungeon using my personal pack of mods to see how it'd work with it.
It features some bits of this new addion available in the devbuild #292. An actual playthrough is quite longer and harder. My comments are in the video description.
Thanks. I actually ended up making the launch tunnel (or, I suppose more accurately, the rocket silo) quite a bit deeper than that so it would actually look like a rocket silo instead of a pit. I'm probably going to add some tubing along the sides later, and maybe a room off to the side with computers and stuff. Get it looking really rocket siloy ("siloy" is a word because I say so, damnit).
Another question: I'm pretty sure you're going to say "no", but is it possible to build high enough to reach space without a rocket? Like, I don't know, a space elevator or something.

No, since the vanilla build limit is 256 and the rocket leaves the planets at height 1200.

I'm willing to bet a launcher like multimc or something is being used to launch the game and it is being allowed to change the config,

I think it looks much nicer!

With the launch pad, only about 4-5 blocks high.

Thanks, I appreciate that feedback
You're welcome.
Well, it's playable, working and kicking.
