This shows up in the game in place of the sapphire- "tile.arsmagica2:keystoneTrapdoor.name". It is also the result when trying to smelt sapphire ore. Second, when trying to craft the flying staff, it has witchwood logs in the recipe. Third, Wood with the ID# of 841 has no texture. I just wanted to bring these to your attention, unless you already know about them. Otherwise, this is a stellar mod.
Ars Magica 2 is overwriting an item from this mod, change the id's
Looks like your mod conflicts with Mr.Crayfishes furniture modhttp://pastebin.com/UCpBh1KE I was wondering if you could make a config for your mod so we can change the ids quickly?

Great Mod! Awesome that it's updated to 1.7.2. A config would be much appreciated as this mod uses the same dimension ID as abyssalcraft which also lacks a configuration file.

I'm using Minecraftt 1.7.2 with Forge10.12.0.1047 and I have installed the mods "ether-1.7.2-0.0.3", "mod_cobalt-1.7.2-1.5.1" and "twilightforest-1.7.2-2.0.3". This happened only after I created the portal and then it didn't happen anymore and after I reloaded the world I stand in the other dimension but there was only a nether portal and if you create the Ethers portal then it will create the portal but one portal block is missing in the portal frame and this happens every time.
hmm hmm, the mod look awesome! good luck on the mod!

Only reeason people would hate on this is if the Aether team actually updated...which is looking more and more unlikely. And I don't know about you, but, I really got bored od playign the Aether in, what was it, 1.2.5, with all the bugs it had in the plain game, as well as the mod (despawning birds that took a lot to raise? No thank you). Not that I am unthankful for the Aether...but it felt like ab it of a letdown to have this grand mod made, almost done, just needing a few tweaks...and never be touched again.
Well, actually (and that post was posted a long time ago, yet ill say this for other users). The Aether II is coming out with a new update: Mutation. It introduces 10 new biomes, 140 new blocks, 40 new items. ._. thats not even all of it.
Hello, I am having issues with the mod. It seems it's incomplete (the 1.7.2 version). I am missing more than half the items the mod should, and has had in previous version and the ones I have have wrecked names (eg. Thunder Sword = sword.name.-sword.thunder, or something similar). I believe this is caused by the mod size, which is 1.31MB for 1.7.2 and 4.89MB for the previous 1.6.4 version. is the download link in tact or am I doing something wrong?
PS: Great mod by the way, it is one of the best major content mods I've ever ecountered, please keep up the great work!!!
The version you use is just a pre-release of the ether. There are alot of errors in this code yet, so just wait a bit ^^
I was a little unclear as to whether this is a new dimension or something that spawns in the overworld. Also, is this compatible with Biomes O' Plenty and Botania?
You know I gotta ask, why haven't you ever made this mod have its own assets folder?
Like name it Ether or anything really, so long as its not in the minecraft assets folder set up.
It's really annoying having to go replace textures and would just over all make it be more organized IMO.
Ars Magica 2 is overwriting an item from this mod, change the id's
So,, Can i use this texture pack?
I will make ModPE Script to this TexturePack! Please!!
But Can you Add More Plants Grass And Flying Mobs
This Will Make Better Vision Of this Sky Islands
I second the motion. I have a single ID conflict between The Ether and Paleocraft. Paleocraft only provides a partial config and The Ether provides none so I am stuck with choosing between the two.
Sad.

Update: As suggested by SirCoolGuy1999, Automatic Maiden's IDFix will resolve this conflict. Unfortunately it also tried to "fix" IDs for all my other mods creating more problems than it solved. IDFix Minus does not work for this issue.
Does anybody know of another ID conflict resolver for 1.6.4 that I might try?
Try download it now,i have fixed the error.

Your mod got a serious code error. Please look over your texture/item registration for your creativetabicons . They crash a client on a server

For 1.6.4:
Simcraft mod
Star Wars mod
CraftCards mod
Falling Meteors mod
ArsMagica mod
For 1.6.2:

Yeah, i presume its an id conflict?. Sadly the mod doesn't have an config :/
Maybe he adds one for the 1.6.4 version ^^
