How does one craft a forge hammer? NEI won't tell me, and you seem to need it to make any of the machines. Also, I can't find it in the main post for this mod.

that's because it's a IC2 item. 2 sticks with 5 iron capping them... may have to be sideways now... been a while
If you do have IC2 Experimental, you can either use the forge hammer as mentioned above, or progress far enough in IC2 to use the metal former to make plates.
If you don't, which might be the case if NEI isn't giving you a recipe, the machines are of no use to you anyway.

I do have IC2 experimental, but I can't seem to craft the forge hammer anyway...thoughts?
Using latest version for MC 1.5.2 [playing FTB Unleashed] and having a problem with the Experience Tome. The Tome isn't accepting ANY of my experience? Holding Shift+Right-Click with the experience tome in my hand does nothing. I've disabled Tinker's ability to store experience on death, but still have TC loaded. Anything else I can do to fix this?
Also, found a tip on getting exp bottles that I didn't see listed in Dartcraft features: using the force rod on any vanilla enchanted book [toss book on ground, use force rod] converts book into 2 bottles o' enchanting. Was just about to build an infinite villager breeder/trade-station when I happened upon this little tip. Saved me from that unnecessary hassle.
edit: Yay! Shift+Right-click = Sneak+Right-Click. Guess I forgot that one as I've been remapping my keys for as long as I've been playing MC. So my problem is solved.
Request/suggestion (requestuggestion) : Force horse armor. My horse, Epona, feels left out and neglected about being shoved into a force flask while i wing and fling myself all over Notch's creation. Any way she can get into the action. =p
I've been having a ton of fun exploring all the new additions that have been added. Great job.
Two small things though. Having a bottle entity as my active item causes the GUI of the inventory screen to change color. And tileboxed hoppers rotate in my inventory according to the direction I am facing, i.e. if I face southeast (0/3; ~ -45) it looks like a hopper. If I face northwest it is invisible because I'm seeing the back of the item. I can provide more information If needed.
you positive on that? i grew a few with bonemeal myself the other day, only took 1 use too.
Yes I am in an Alps Biome next to a Wetland, and I have blown 2 stacks of bone meal on 1 tree and it does not grow, I also tried in creative for several minutes to no avail - I left it alone and finally after a few sessions playing it grew on its own but the other 3 I had planted have not grown at all...
I tried in a Bog, Tundra, Coniferous Forest, and Pasture, and they grow fine in there with just one bone meal... Appears to be something specific to Alps and Wetland biomes that makes trees not grow regular?
Ok after more testing, it appears to be caused by the fact that there are not enough clear level spaces around the saplings for them to want to grow... if I raise the trees on dirt blocks they seem to grow fine once they are free of whatever was blocking their clearance, which seems to be ANYTHING within a 4-5 block radius... this includes grass/flowers/etc...
Greetings from FTB Unleashed again. According to the mod notes, 3 pieces of force armor with the heat upgrade will make the wearer immune to fire damage. Does this no longer work? Tried this out by wearing heat-upgraded Force Cap, Kilt and Boots and walking into lava. Fire damage insued.
Hi, can we have an option to undo the armor nerf you did?
It's already there, I would suggest you find the B:"Easy Force Armor"=false option
On another note, small issue with the baconator. If crafted, held and then right-clicked to load it with bacon the baconator and cooked bacon disappear without a trace. However, if instead of crafted, pulled from NEI, and the above process done then it loads with bacon just fine. This is using Dartcraft 0.2.06
I am having trouble with the force rod. When I place a block of obsidian down and right click it with the force rod it does nothing. I have also tried putting the force rod and obsidian in the crafting table and nothing. I am using version 0.2.06 and have tried it with 0.2.05 and neither work. I am running the latest forge version, which I believe is 871. Am I missing something or is it the mod?

I know for a fact that placing obsidian in world and force transmuting it doesn't work - that was specifically mentioned in the spotlight, because it was making it easier than intended to collect obsidian. (See bluedart's Let's Play videos this season - there's one titled "That's Gonna Get Nerfed" or similar.)
Odd that you're having trouble in the crafting grid. Try just using the 2x2 grid? And if that's giving you trouble, how much durability does your force rod have left? You can't use the last use of the rod in the crafting table; if your rod is on its last legs you may need to make a new one.
I've not had any trouble using the force rod to make an infuser, so it's weird that it's giving you such difficulty.
@bluedart any chance you could register milk as a liquid so we can use it in the force engine / tanks / pipes / and in world without MRF (which is not out for 1.6.2)

Even without that port, though, you can put milk into cans if you have Forestry, and those can be shuffled around using all the normal ways to transport items (by hand, BuildCraft transport pipes, etc).
Hello, are you planning to update the mod to 1.6.4 or are you waiting for 1.7?
I just want to know so I can figure out whether to include this into my 1.6.4 modpack I am working on.(Not for Profit, etc, just a fun pack I've been testing for release).
The IC2-related "Charge2" upgrade for armor.. only seems to recharge Force Tools or Force Weapons. It does not recharge Force Armor with the "Charge1" upgrade on it, nor does it work for electric Tinkers' Construct weapons (which use IC2 power) or several of the standard versions of IC2 electric tools.
(Yes this is with the latest revision of IC2 Experimental and DartCraft 2.06 under MC1.6.2)

thanks for the post but i really only want it for the milk part and would prefer to wait for a official port from power crystals
Even with Forestry milk is still not a liquid and thus can not be put into a force engine because that has a internal tank! so... ya still need it to be registered as a liquid! tho i guess does not need to be peaceable. =D
thx a lot

Try getting the latest version. All versions of IC2 are not created equally at the moment^^;
