Hey Im pretty sure many people complimented this mod and I Love this mod too! One thing i would love to create is a hidden armor stand but to be able to do that I need it to be able to be pushed from the pistons! I think this would be a cool part of the mod! Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Ok, so I redownloaded forge, but now when I try to open a minecraft world, it just freezes. It doesn't show any error messages, it just doesn't load.
Check the ForgeModLoader-client-0.log in your .minecraft folder. the 0 log is always the result of the most recent time you launched minecraft, and you can open it in any text editor. By starting near the end and working upwards, you should eventually find a line that gives you some idea of what went wrong.

When mango eggs fly, what is the square root of the tomato?
For a half a millisecond, I almost scanned past this mod when I first saw it because I thought it said "Biblecraft". Then I almost passed it by because I read it correctly as "Bibliocraft" and I thought- "Well that's some book mod, and I don't care about Minecraft books".
Then, in the most brilliant moment of my Minecraft career to date, I clicked on it anyway. This mod has now transformed the game like no mod has done for us in a long time, probably since Hoverboat when we started putting runways into our bases, and maybe SDK guns. (I still mourn the loss of my Desert Eagle).
It's simply shelves, for the most part, but it's really much more. It's a step closer to actually living in the worlds we create because it is so much more satisfying to SEE loot instead of vanishing it into a chest.
All this has me worried though, because so many modders outgrow Minecraft or burn out. I'm going to have to remind you this is a marathon, not a sprint, because I'm going to NEED this mod to exist for as long as I play Minecraft. (And I'd also like weekly updates with new amazing shelves and bugfixes at least until Starbound or Grim Dawn or Cube World comes out.)
As for right now, I want you to know that because of your mod, my boy is keeping a diary in Minecraft books we've never used for anything but enchanting tables. And he is now asking me to read each entry daily... "Today I was attacked by a zombie. It hurt me but I killed it" So, thanks for that.
But seriously - great job. Keep it up- just don't let all this fame turn you into Biebers.
Thanks! No worries about the future, I plan to work on this and maintain it for as long as I can (years to come). If anything were to happen in the far off future that would render me unable to continue I will at that time release BiblioCraft open source so that it may be continued.
That makes me really happy to hear BiblioCraft has inspired your son to keep a diary. The original intent of this mod was the bookcase concept and I had hoped it would make some of the vanilla book related things more fun as well as a place to store all the books from the different mods. It just creates quite a satisfying feeling to look at a library of books and know that they are all real books. I think it would be amazing to walk into a room full of books and they were all written books of adventures, stories, anything. Chests just don't seem the place to store books, or some other stuff like potions and armor and weapons when it can be so satisfying to be able to display your accomplishments.
A truly Masterpiece, I recommend for everyone, I love simple mods that add simple things for minecraft, like furniture, and this mod is exactly what I need, and it is amazing to have houses filled with furniture! for you!
Also, one little issue i experienced is that Mo' Creatures swords cannot be displayed, is there a way to display it? I wont die because of it, but would be cool to display a Scorpion Sting Sword!
Thanks for the mod!
Thanks!
Also, Yes, you can add support for more tools and swords and such in the config file.

This could be accomplished with redpower frames. From our testing we haven't found any bugs with moving any of the BiblioCraft blocks on frames. It takes at least 2 frames to move an armor stand.
Ok, I really need some help! I looked in the client-0.log, and to be honest I didn't understand a thing on it. I force updated my minecraft, and then I looked at an online tutorial to make sure I downloaded forge right, but I ran into the same problem! Please help!

We are currently testing out some changes. Release coming in next couple days.

Nice looking house!
What Metalurgy2 stuff are you talking about and what can't display it? Most shelves have a config option to add new items if they are not supported.
Thanks!

Wait....do you mean to tell me we'll be able to have out golems from thaum craft interact with the shelves now too? .....that is ing EPIC!
You said that i can add swords and tools in the config but... How exactly? I'm not a modder and i never modded a config file ever xP
Also, i'm getting this weird bug

As you can see, the sword i facing the wrong position.
What do i do? It's hard to be a newb xP
Jukakun, If you put your graphics on fancy instead of fast the rotation of the sprites will be fixed kind of a vanilla thing. Use wordpad to edit the config file and you put the "keyword" of the item you want to be able to put on that particular shelf. The config file is in your .minecraft/config folder. Hope that helps.
Hey Fudgy, the keyword you are looking for is "Library". The man said he would add it to the config file in the next update for everyone. Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks a ton for being so quick to help! You guys are really making a great mod here. I hope to see this become something a lot of players use. I know for sure that Iwill have it in my "default/goto" mods from now on
Thanks a lot dude. We are doing what we can. And thanks to everyone. Please tell others about this mod. We hope to bring one of the best mods available.
The bug is gone for good! Thank you very much! How do i know the keyword for the item i know? It's the name of the item, or the ID, or something else? At least i found and opened the config file! The support in this mod is amazingly fast, keep up the good work!
Sometimes it is not easy to figure out the keyword, it depends on what the mod maker set it to like in the case above. Usually it is the name or part of the name of the item you wish to add. At the moment we are adding many items to the config files for the update. Thank you for your posts, you guys are helping us beyond belief. and yes it is multiplayer compatible.

Nope, Forge only.
