Anybody have a good replacement texture for the Adjustable Chest GUI? Something about it hurts my eyes, literally. I think it is the gradients around each individual slot.
Just in case you want to change that, that GUI texture is in the Aroma1997Core mod jar.
That is just what I did. MS paint ftw. I made the gradients solid black and now I don't go cross-eyed when I open the chest. To be fair I have a number of eyesight issues so this is probably entirely me.

I just want to make sure that it is alright to use your Mods, specifically core and Mining world in my modpack, which will be a small private pack for my server. It is called New Frontiers.
My Minecraft keeps on crashing to desktop when left or right click on an adjustable chest that has the player upgrade on it. running version 1.1.0.0 of BetterChests and 1.0.1.0 of AromaCore. This on a server btw. I am the one who inserted the player upgrade.
Same problem as the above, happens on left click and right click, but you can pick it up with a hammer.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this but your forum's link (More detailed Information) that links to IC2's forum.
For Compact Windmills: the link is
[forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=9205]
For Portable Recharger Mod:
the link is [forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=9367]
You may want to remove the amp;amp' on the link so it looks like
Hey Aroma. Any update on whether its possible to stop certain mod generation (Thaumcraft, Ars Magica) in mining dimension? Saw your posts a few pages back, just wanted to know if theres anything new.
No! The normal Chest UI screws up if you have more than 54 Slots in the Chest.
There's a reason why I put so much work into creating my own GUI!
Why would you even want that?
Well... if you could do *both*... a "false bottom" chest?
A chest with four inventory rows instead of the standard three. The left-most or right-most bottom corner slot is the "key" slot.
If you click on the chest holding the item in the key slot, you see all four rows (or five or six or seven). If not, you see the standard chest GUI.
When the chest is first placed, the slot is empty, so you open the chest with an empty hand to see everything. Then, say, you put an egg in the "key slot" corner item slot. If you open the chest holding anything but an egg (or empty hand), you see the standard chest GUI, and everything else is hidden. If you are holding an egg, you see the extra row(s) of inventory.
It's just an idea based on your question. It would be good for multi-player environments.
Sorry if I offended you in any way, I didn't mean to. I really do like your mod. I kinda do like the minecraft chest GUI though because it feels more natural. You don't have to remove your GUI, but its just for people like me who prefer the regular one similar to how IronChests did it.
First, when using an adjustable bag, it locks the inventory slot in the top row above where it is placed in the hotbar. For instance, if the bag is opened from the left-bottom slot in the inventory, the left top slot can't be clicked or moved.
Second, its interaction with Inventory Tweaks is a bit glitchy. While the buttons do show up (unlike some other chest mods), it sometimes crashes (client only not server) when using the sort buttons. Also, spacebar-clicking to send all items to a chest or bag doesn't work. Space clicking to take all items from an adjustable chest usually works, but from a bag it will always result in a crash due to the first issue (the locked slot). If that slot is empty, space-clicking will try to fill it and result in a client crash.
I am really impressed with this mod, and if these issues were cleared up it would probably be the only chests I would ever use heh.
It doesn't leave a crash log, the window freezes and eventually it pops up that the java se binary is not responding and needs to be closed. This is on version 1.1.0.1 of betterchests (which still has the adjustable bag locked slot bug mentioned before). It is fully repeatable though, every time I space-click to transfer items from the adjustable bag to my inventory, if the top slot above the bag in my hotbar is empty, it freezes my client and I have to end process on it. If it is full, the space-click works and all items that can fit in my inventory is transfered, as intended. If the locked slot is already fixed in a future un-released version then this will also be solved likely.
Unrelated however, you still can't space-click to fill a betterchest or bag from the player inventory, it just picks up the single block clicked on or does nothing if clicking on empty space.
Here is the forge log you requested. I had to split it into 3 pastebins due to size, the crash occurs in the third part of course. I spawned an adjustable bag, filled it with some random crap, and then tried to space-click it into my inventory to cause the crash. Of note is the fact that when I loaded it up again, the items were transferred up to the space in the top row of my inventory above the bag, the 'locked slot'. Thats why I am rather sure the crash as least will be fixed with the locked slot problem.
Hello,
I just tried to run the recent core / mining world packages, and I got a crash. I rolled back to the previous version, and everything went back to working fine. I have the latest recommended Forge.
If the "nei" in "codechicken/nei/recipe/ICraftingHandler" is "Not Enough Items", I don't have that mod.
Thank you.

The only issue I have with Aroma1997core is that it tries to look for an update (spams the chatbox) even if it's set fo false:
general {
# If Aroma1997Core should run a VersionCheck.
B:checkVersion=false
Im getting this and litterally can't do a thing... Playing in an ftb horizon's server(v1.0.13), tried updating to newer versions of your core, but it instacrashes ftb.
That is just what I did. MS paint ftw. I made the gradients solid black and now I don't go cross-eyed when I open the chest. To be fair I have a number of eyesight issues so this is probably entirely me.
Same problem as the above, happens on left click and right click, but you can pick it up with a hammer.

Well... if you could do *both*... a "false bottom" chest?
