I recommend that you add an upgrade to the hookshot because its range isn't too good. And could yu fix the bomb texture? It doesn't look much like a bomb.

This mod is the best Legend of Zelda mod I've ever seen! I never did think much of AdventureCraft, since it completely changes the game. Good job! I'll download as soon as I get back to my computer, since the one I'm using right now can't use minecraft.
Could we get a config option to add to what the hookshot can grab? I just installed WildCaves and it'd be awesome to be able to grapple the stalactites.
Awesome mod by the way. Every little subtle detail is perfect, from the sounds to the effects.
Hey, NMcCoy! I have suggestions; I don't know where to post them, sorry
A fairy mob that can be caught in a Glass Bottle and has the same effect as a Phoenix Feather.
3 Wallets (For emeralds): Mini Wallet (Holds 100), Wallet (Normal; Holds 250), and Big Wallet (Holds 500).
...Maybe a version of the Caltrops that don't disappear after being touched? Name suggestion: Spikes. They could even look the same; I don't care
These are several interesting ideas!
I've considered fairies; I don't want to duplicate the functionality of the phoenix feather, and so I will probably not directly implement bottleable fairies as they exist in Zelda. There may well be something akin to fairy fountains on the horizon, however!
I had actually planned wallets at some point, but couldn't really find a niche to make them meaningful and useful - combining shards into emeralds will save more inventory space in the long run than any wallet-type item would, and a wallet that stored different sizes of shards/emeralds at the same time would be a nightmare to both code and use, I think.
As for the spikes - those sound way too powerful to be in the hands of players, but having a similar sort of trap/hazard for the dungeon builder's kit (a planned collection of noncraftable blocks and items aimed at adventure map makers) is a sound suggestion.

This seems fairly reasonable and straightforward to do; I'll see about getting that in the next update, if I can. And thanks!
Install it using MultiMC. Plus your not really supposed to put it into the mods folder.
From the OP: "LegendGear is a mod inspired by The Legend of Zelda and other classic games, providing new weapons, consumables, and accessories, as well as adding a couple new plants to world generation. LegendGear is a Forge mod; once you've got Forge set up, just drop LegendGear in your mods folder and you're good to go."
I am making a private mod pack for FeedTheBeast and i was wondering if i could use your mod inside of my modpack it will be private and people who join the server will be the only ppl to have access to it.
I was wondering if we were ever going to see an upgrade or enchant for the boomerang, with possibly: longer range, a more straight return trajectory, more damage, faster travel speed, a homing attack, or the main thing I was thinking: a multitarget homing attack? where it flies out and homes in to hit a limited number of targets in a smallish area, like the boomerang from some of the 3d zelda games where you could select a number of targets to hit. If it is a new boomerang: an obsidian and ender pearl boomerang would look pretty cool. Maybe include wind medallions in the crafting recipe as well? Then you'll only need a use for fire medallion for each to have a unique item tied to them!

Ok; I mainly only wanted the spikes for creative anyway. I'm making a Legend of Zelda map (using creative, as obtaining everything in survival would be a major pain) and you can tell how much this mod helps! Spikes would be great for a little parkour-type jumping challenge; spikes are classic legend of zelda! Thank you for reading my message, NMcCoy, I'll be checking back for updates daily/weekly!

HEY YOU! Yeah you. Do you like adventure maps? PM me if you want to test/help me with my adventure maps.
Looks like it's still using Java 6; A friend of mine was having this problem, and he had to uninstall Java 6 before it would properly use the Java 7 install. Try that?
I found out why it was Java 6 not 7, Java doesn't have a v7 for Mac below v10.6 meaning I cannot get this mods
I am rather annoyed at this as this mod looks incredible and my Mac isn't old so I don't see why Java stopped at v6 for Mac v10.6.8

It says something about blockjar, which I guess is the Jar, but what about it?
If anyone knows anything, PLEASE, help me out here, me and my friends love this mod and we really don't want to stop using it.
Thanks.

Then you are lucky because I can't for the live of me find out why this wont work.
Could you say how you installed, with what mods also
I don't have any testing recipes. Do you have other mods installed? There may be an item ID conflict - check your config files.
