Unfortunately, senior year has taken it's toll on me. I've been so busy and unable to maintain this mod, so anyone who wants to make a fallout mod or continue this one may ask for the code. For any of my mods really. Sorry that I let everyone down. Who knows, maybe I'll be back in a year or something
The Fallout Mod
Hi everyone, I'm coming back! However, I'll probably be rewriting the mod from scratch due to the major changes of the code from 1.5.2 (the last time it was updated) to 1.7 and I'll need to take some time to learn the new codebase. Also, MCP, the thing that lets me write the mod, hasn't updated for 1.7 and I'll need to wait for it before I can. But worry not, it's coming back and it'll be back soon!
Due to popular request, I'm slowly phasing out the "real" fallout textures and adding my own, 16x16 pixel art. Not everything is textured however, so keep that in mind. Sorry about the inconvenience

This is a special 5x5 crafting table that allows you to craft power armor! (I know the output is empty, the recipe works though)

Armor: All armor is unobtainable right now, save for some of the pants. Not gonna give you recipes just yet, but this is what it will look like.
While I'm figuring out world generation, all plants can be found by breaking grass.

7/5/2014: Finished the new way to craft power armor, the power armor welding table. It's 5x5 crafting table. Will upload soon, use the download below.
6/30/2014: Bigger updates! Here's a release with a gun that works .
- .357 pistol works! Uses apples as ammo
- Bullets are still invisible (no idea why), making it hard to hit enemies :/
- Added the valence accentuator headpiece, it heals you slowly. Currently invincible and provides leather helmet armor value.
- DON'T use the power armor welder, breaks the game
- Gun doesn't seem to actually consume the ammo, it returns it to you in the end
- To reload, make sure you have 5 apples in your inventory, then press the R key (can be changed in settings). Your gun will then be loaded and fire away!
6/28/2014: Release with a little more stuff in it. Armor is uncraftable, most chems are uncraftable I'll get around to posting the recipes soon. Notable stuff: - Broc flowers, xander roots and nevada agave fruits can only be planted on sand (desert) - The gun uses apples as ammo, the bullets are slow and invisible as well as explode - All armor grants the Hellfire armor effects
6/27/2014: Here's the most stable release. It's early and there isn't much in it yet, but I'm slowly reworking if from the beginning; I lost all my code when my computer broke and this is all I have so far. To install, simply drag this into the 1.7.2 mods folder of your minecraftforge client.
6/24/2014: School's out! I can code a lot more often now. I've recoded some of the food and chems, as well as have got some people working for me on texturing the items. Now they won't be cheap ripoffs of the actual textures
5/22/2014: I've begun to recode the actual mod and will release a test build soon. This build will obviously be a TEST BUILD and won't have much in it. The changes to the 1.7 codebase are taking some time to get used to, but it'll eventually be in it's full greatness like it was back in 1.6.

Na man, not a big deal. I wanted to see what happend to the mod, so I went to your profile and looked at your recent posts to find it! I've been a big fan of Fallout for a while, and have beed wanting to see a Fallout mod a long time. I didnt want you to give up or anything, so Im here to give support
Note: Still a work in progress. In fact, this may be a WIP forever. If you would like to join me with this mod, people with texturing skills would be greatly appreciated. The few guns I have are the ones that will be staying, I'm gonna focus on adding items and craftables first. But bullets and lasers are what guns fire! But for some reason they're invisible. Lol
A mod in which most of the items from all of the Fallout games will be added. Most everything will be there, but this will take a very long time, mainly because the Fallout universe is so huge. I am 100% dedicated to this mod and one day it will be completed. This mod does require MinecraftForge.
After looking around for a Fallout mod and finding some, but none that were fully completed or updated to the current version, I was very disappointed and hoped for one to be updated eventually. Alas, none of that was true. So I took matters into my own hands and this was the product.
Quick heads up, not all of the items mentioned here are properly textured. This will be fixed quite soon. Patience is a virtue!
Since I'm too lazy to post the recipes, here's a map with them listed out (still adding them, not all are there).
-An essential part of crafting the T45d Power Armor. This is the skin that goes directly beneath the armor and allows for the user to link to the exoskeleton. Can also be worn as regular armor. Strength of gold armor.
T45d Power Armor
-The most basic form of powered protection. This model is the basis for all power armor models. Twice the protection of diamond.
T51b Power Armor
-The second most powerful model of power armor. Naturally, this armor is hard to acquire and takes a lot of resources to build. Crafted by upgrading the T45d Power Armor. Three times stronger than diamond.
-The material that makes power armor possible. A semi rare ore that is the basis for all power armor material.
-What is actually used to make Reinforced Alloy Plates. Made by compressing Tungsten Rods together.
-For more advanced protection, why not use an even heavier metal.
-Made by compressing Technetium Chunks together.
-Surprisingly enough, asbestos is the main component in Recon Armor.
-Made by combining several Asbestos Chunks. What is actually used to craft the armor.
-Basic material used in various recipes.
-A combined version of Silicon Chunks.
-A strong filter used for power armor waste disposal units.
-Ventilation and cooling down for the power armor, Microfusion Packs tend to heat up...
-Guess what these are?
Reinforced Alloy Plate
-The plating that covers power armor to give it it more strength.
-A strong fabric like material used in some armors.
-What makes nukes possible.
-A miniature nuclear fusion device.
-A bigger miniature nuclear fusion device.
TX-28 Power Armor Microfusion Pack
-A larger bigger miniature nuclear fusion device used for powering power armor.
-Basically more powerful zombies. These fast powerful creatures are actually humans that have been exposed to an ungodly amount of radiation, and haven't had the luck to die. Extremely hostile, will attack anything on sight.
-Same thing as a feral ghoul, but luckily kept it's mental faculties in order. Non-hostile, but can be provoked.
Brotherhood of Steel Paladin
-The Brotherhood of Steel is an organization operating across the ruins of post-war America, with roots within the American military. Paladins are high ranking soldiers.
-A wandering human.
Follower of the Apocalypse Doctor
-The Followers of the Apocalypse can be described as rebels, but in their minds they are doing the right thing for the wasteland. What their objective is is to collect as much medical knowledge as they can and share it with the wastes.
-Your standard issue military grade combat knife. Strength of an iron sword.
-Literally, the strongest knife on the market. Mainly used in kitchens, this knife has caused many injuries to chef';s because of it's strength. There are three variants, the regular Cosmic Knife, a clean version of Cosmic Knife, and the Super Heated Cosmic Knife. Regular and clean versions of the cosmic knife are same strength as diamond while the super heated version does slightly more damage and sets things on fire.
-Another kitchen knife, however not as sharp. Slightly stronger than iron.
All guns use arrows right now for ammo, except for the incinerator which shoots fireballs.
-A heavy flamethrower.
-A repeating laser rifle.
A strong beamed single shot rifle.
-The Compliance Regulator
A test weapon, may paralyze/slow down enemies but does weak damage.
Food and Chems:
-A basic healing item. Useful in tight situations where health is needed.
-A more efficient healing item. Kinda like three stimpaks in one.
-Used for crafting chems.
-A rage inducing chem that increases your strength.
-A chem that amazingly increases the strength of your skin, raising your defense.
