Poll: WorldGen with unique mobs is planned. What do you think?
The worldgen will include new kinds of caves/dungeons in the same fashion as Minecraft, like the mineshafts and mob dungeons. No over the top massive structures are planned. Of course, you can disable/enable them in the config.
Love these additions to the world... they add a lot without changing the feel of the game, as I'm sure was your intention.
It also warms my heart to see some of Firehazurd's creations, like the Filch Lizard, become a reality for the first time!
Perhaps some of the favorite creatures from the old AtmosMobs will find their way into this mod? One of your hints makes me think of butterflies, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see

youtube is your friend,but on cuseforge you can find many mods tagged by popularity and downloads.

Sadly, it seems that the only popular* mods there are are Orespawn and any Lucky Block mod. I wish I were lying when I said that, but it's true, sad, but true. It's been like this since maybe May.
If you're looking for popular mods, there's also Thaumcraft, Witchery, Blood Magic, Botania, Grimoire of Gaia, Fossils and Archaeology, Immersive Engineering, and quite a few others.

when will you finish the new mobs and structures? (I do not want to rush you, I just want to know if I should wait for the update or start the Modpack now)
I am playing with both Primitive Mobs and Special Mobs and am now at a point where I am practically on the run from my support creeper.
While it was still young it wasn't a problem, I was happy about the buffs. But now it's a Rare Evil Support Creeper of Choking, trying to kill me for the 9134646th time.
Are the mods generally incompatible, are there any configs I should look at or am I just unlucky that my baby has turned against me?
If anyone has experience with these two mods working together, let me know!
Sounds a bit more like Infernal Mobs did that, not Special Mobs. Since it would have to have been Infernal, then yes its a complete luck issue, as Infernals are generated from a 1/x chance.
how do i tame a baby spider that spawned with its mother? theres a couple pictures in the pets section that wont work for me and im thinking thats where the info is

can the blazing juggernauts be killed in a farm and drop items or do they need to be killed by the player like blazes
