There isn't one. It's unsupported. MDiyo made a version in the interim but there were major bugs in minecraft at the time that caused a lot of problems, so when he moved to 1.7.10 he pulled 1.7.2 so nobody would use a buggy version and complain.
Am I doing something wrong with using redstone signals to automate faucets? It seems really random if it'll work or not, sometimes it'll work for a while then stop, sometimes it wants the signal from certain directions, other times that won't work either. Is there a sure fire way to do this and I'm just being obtuse?
not to be mean and all but, if you read the entire post correctly, you will find the answer to your question

So I just wasted (evidently) a ton of resources turning my 8 red hearts into heart containers. I put them on... and nothing happens.
Am I missing something?
Nothing mysterious here. I opened the armor tab. I put the containers in the only slot in which they fit. I waited. I ate. I slept. Nothing happened. Tried them adding one at a time as well as the entire stack at once.
edit: right. Minecraft 1.7.10. TC version 1.6.0d40.1 (per the file name)
I looked through several pages and couldn't find this, or where to report a possible bug with the 1.7.10 version. Whenever my character dies, all of his Tinkerer's Construct items disappear. I can go find all my other stuff but my weapons and tools from Tinkerer's Construct are always gone. I've used this mod before in several other mod packs (this time it's just Vanilla with a couple of mods) and this never happened before. This is my first time using the 1.7.10 version though.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this or information on a better place to report bugs would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using magnet mode from NEI or any other mods that suck items to you?
I have found that it seems Tinker's Construct tools do not have the same delay that other items have when dropped on the ground and instantly get sucked back into you if dropped on the ground if you have a magnet mode type mod. This happens so fast that often the Tinker tools get sucked into your corpse and deleted before you resurrect.
I could be wrong on this though as I am not an expert. If you do not use any type of magnet mode or mod then I am not sure..

Oh yeah, I noticed that with the heads. I died and then suddenly, on the you're dead screen, my head was sucked into my hand, then I didn't have it when I respawned and it wasn't with the pile of stuff when I got to it. Which was right away since I died right outside my own door >.>; none of the tools have done it to me though and even the heads have stopped doing it.
Hi, I'm having trouble in upgrading my pick from flint to copper. It doesn't seem to be showing up but i have the pick and the copper pickaxe head in the right places. Have I missed a step, do I have to upgrade it to a different metal first?
Iguana Tweaks for Tinker's Construct is the mod that allows you to do that. If you don't have it, then there's no way to upgrade other than making a whole new pick.
anyone know what's wrong here? i have optifine installed, by the way..
I can't guess what your problem is based just on that screenshot. Is it the color of the grass or is that just the biome you're in?
Anyways, remove Optifine or live with it.
From FAQ in OP:
[quote]Q: What mods are incompatible with this?
A: MultiMine prevents the broad area on Tier 2 tools from working. GregTech may not work at all. OptiFine and any bukkit envrionment (MCPC+, BukkitForge) aren't supported either.

I was able to pour liquid iron into a bucket. What is the easiest way to get that liquid back into the smeltery?
If you have any mod that adds items that can transport fluids (BuildCraft, Extra Utilities, or something), put your bucket of molten iron on the Casting Table, and pipe it from there back into the Smeltery Drain.

Ya, I guess it depends on how quickly Minecraft resolves your death. I have found that using a Gravestone mod, any mod that stores your equipment on death or even using the game rule Keep Inventory prevents item deletion 100%

=tooltip== also shows up under random tinkers items. Im not sure what the cause is.
you have TicTooltips installed.
I uninstalled that and the message still shows up, which is weird. Not sure if its NEI related or something but it only affects tinkers and the chat
Am I missing something?
Nothing mysterious here. I opened the armor tab. I put the containers in the only slot in which they fit. I waited. I ate. I slept. Nothing happened. Tried them adding one at a time as well as the entire stack at once.
edit: right. Minecraft 1.7.10. TC version 1.6.0d40.1 (per the file name)
