I use the Twitch app to download my modpacks. I'm wanting to play Revelation 2 on a server and can't seem to figure out what folder to put the liteloader app and your mod. The only place I've been able to run the litloader app is into the 1.12.2 folder inside the Revelation 2 folder. It doesn't seem to do anything. Meaning, after I include the xray mod into the mod folder and start up the game, there is no list of the mod in the modpack nor is there anything in game.
If you are unfamiliar with how the Twitch app sets up it's file system, is there another way to play the modpack AND include litloader/xray in this version?

Thanks again!
Did you put Liteloader jar into 1.12.2 folder, and my mod's .litemod into the "mods" folder? Do you see the chicken/feather tab on the right hand side of the main menu?
The only place I could "run" liteloader was in this folder. I then put a copy of your mod in the mods folder and I also tried it in the 1.12.2 folder.
The chickenASM file is in this folder just to add to what I ran.
And this file mod-mcxray1.12.2-1.0.2-mc1.12.2.litemod is in the mod folder.
Thanks for your help!
Are you double clicking the jar file? How are you installing Liteloader? You need to download Liteloader from here: http://www.liteloader.com/download and run the installer to extract the .jar to place in 1.12.2 folder.
I downloaded liteloader and the only folder it would go into was the one I listed under FTB Revelation the 1.12.2 folder. It is the only thing in that folder right now.
Meaning I ran the exe file and this was the only folder it would allow the program to downolad into. So, now there is a jar file (the chickenASM file) in the 1.12.2 folder.
And I downloaded your mod as listed above and placed it in the mods folder under FTB Revelation. There is not any chicken feather tab on the main menu.

Which one did you download, the exe or the jar? You need to download the exe, run it, and press the option to extract it. You get a jar file to put in 1.12.2 folder.
It is SO COOL how up you Devs are up on this thing. The Spigot Community Test Server is running Bungee to accept 1.8-1.13pre1 clients, you are primed for 1.13 once LiteLoader releases, and there seems to be other similar support for 1.13 mod updates going around. Pretty freakin' cool!
Minecraft is changing the block IDs again in 1.13. If there's no automatic conversion table, you might need to re-add your blocks.
This is how I'm thinking of handling this issue: if you already have blocklists, the new mod will convert those to the new block IDs and make a separate blocklist list. This will be done once, so if you have this mod for older Minecraft releases and the new 1.13 version installed side-by-side, you can configure them individually.
Also, since Curseforge removed Steam gift cards, and there have been issues with maladvertising on ad networks, I'm thinking of just removing adf.ly from the OP and just directly linking to the latest release on Github.
I went ahead and added money through you Patreon account. It isn't much, but it would be a good plan if a bunch of people "didn't give much". One of the reasons I'm so happy with Bedrock's Marketplace is the risk of maladvertising for getting mods and such from "proper" links. I really want to support what you are doing. I just don't want the hell of ad.fly to do it. So... anyone else up for hitting the tip jar on julialy? Right now Patreon looks rather thin.
First of all, great mod! It works astonishingly well, and is very lightweight. However, there is one problem that I have run into, and haven't found a way around. I am trying to make a new profile, but every time I click "Switch to the profile in the textbox", it simply reverts back to DefaultBlockList. I found the config file, and there is nothing but the default block list present. Also, when I try to create it from the config file, attempting to load it ingame will either simply do nothing, or delete what I added. I am running version 1.0.4 for MC 1.12.2. I additionally have the following mods enabled:
Liteloader (1.12.2-SNAPSHOT-r4CC2BB0-4-b4): Autofish, VoxelMap, ArmorHUDRevived, ExtendedHotbar, SpawnDetector

And as a side-note, what does the settings feature do?
Yes, you type something in the box, press "Switch to the profile in the textbox", then set your block options. Be sure you press "Esc" after you finished setting your options so the configuration file will save.
The settings feature allows you to set settings without editing the configuration file in a text editor. The first box is the key and the second box is the value.

Well, it doesn't work that way for me. As soon as I click Switch to the profile in the textbox, then it exits the menu entirely, and reloads chunks without any settings enabled

Yes, it's supposed to do that.
After you do that, the current blocklist is the one you typed in the textbox. Press ctrl-x again then select the blocks you want, then hit esc, and it will be saved in the config file.
If the blocklist doesn't exist, the current blocklist is copied to the new one and then saved.
I found a solution to the blocks disappearing glitch!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!
Minecraft.renderChunksMany = false and all problems are solved!!!!!!
I'll do a release sometime
this weekend.EDIT: This weekend at the time that this post is edited.
Here are some things that are going to be implemented:
Fuzzy string searching (search+select blocklists and blocks by typing a few characters of what you want)
Auto update (I'm switching from adfly to curseforge)
All downloads will still be on github as usual
same issue, xray mod is not loading in a 12.22.2 liteloader profile for me
Are you sure you downloaded & put the 1.12.2 version of the mod in the right place?
Greetings!
Thank you so much for working on this.

Thanks for the quick response. Are you familiar with the folder system in Twitch?
C:\Users\user\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\FTB Revelation\mods\1.12.2

I'm out of ideas.

Hmm...ok, thanks so much for trying to help.
1.13 status:
An update of this mod will be released as soon as possible (once Mumfrey updates Liteloader).
The update may or may not include the WIP new features I mentioned before (fuzzy matching, easier auto-update).
If those features are included in my next release, they will also be backported to older versions of Minecraft.
Localization support is also planned. I plan to add Spanish and Japanese localizations eventually.
