While working on another project, I came across the need to create light sources, but have them blend into the surroundings. Since Minecraft alone allows nothing like this, I created this simple little mod. Basically this mod will turn any block you right click into a light source, while keeping it's texture. Right-clicking again will change it back to the original block. It should also work with mod blocks.
By default, the wand has a durability of 256, and will be damaged each time you use it. This can be disabled in the config however. You can also enable fuel consumption, which will consume one glowstone dust each use.
Actually the sole fact that it removes the lights when you reload the world makes it nerfed significantly more than if it didin't. Like Robbie suggested in his video, it can be used as a very temporary solution.
But I do agree the recipe could be a bit harder. Though, I've got no ideas off hand so I'm happy either way haha.
Great mod! Although I've came across a problem: whenever I light a dispenser it rotates itself. After that I tried to "pick block" the lit dispenser and it crashed Could you please look into fixing that problem? Thanks.
Meta data isn't being conserved when changing the block back, even though it should be. I'm currently dealing with a dead hard drive, but I'll look into it once I'm able.

It should already have durability.Strange, it doesn't. Fixing, and adding a config option for fuel consumption.
I'll go fix it now.
