Oh hell yeah. It works now. This is awesome. I appreciate you putting this together. I'm gonna be using this a lot and probably a good deal of other stuff in this mod with the collection of mods I am putting together for a new series I want to do on YouTube.
Thanks again.
Not a problem. Just look forward to more updates in the future; I have some new interesting features and a user interface in the works!
When I downloaded this, it crashed minecraft due to it's incompatibility with my other mods, so I uninstalled it, yet minecraft still crashed. If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself not to install this, because now I have to completely re-make my modpack.
Yeah, about that post I just made, I kinda fixed it, but I learned my lesson:
BBMM is cool, but it has horrific compatibility
It's not that incompatible. It only uses one block ID, and the versions before 1.7 don't use any IDs. So the only way you could have screwed up your modpack is through your own doing or improper installation.
I've updated to 1.7.3. No new additions to the mod itself, but there is a very small format change. BBMM files no longer need to contain BBMM in the name and no longer need .txt, but are now extended to .bbmm.
The newest versions also contain a new folder in the main .zip called BBMM Interface. Open this folder and use the BBMM.jar to open a program that allows mods to be made much easier. Just switch between tabs to change the type of mod addition. It's still in early stages so it's not extremely intuitive. This program will automatically output your completed mod to the proper directory, so there is no drag-n-drop necessary. There are a few things missing that will require that you input into the file directly. These things include:
All of those will need to be input into the .bbmm directly. You may still make the file from scratch if you'd like.
If anyone needs help using the program, just let me know! I will gradually add the rest of the things I left out, I just wanted to release a testing version for people.
I'm not entirely sure of your point haha. My mod version numbers are different from MC. I usually release fixes and updates much faster than MC, so I generally have a higher version number.
If it is possible to load item, block, texture after starting a world?
I think it will be a good idea if we can save our own custom item into the save folder.
And if with this mod,we don't have to edit the config file, but we can just drag the save, play didn't have to do anything else
Or load the following from the server?
I think it will be more awesome if we can just enter a map which with custom item but didn't have to do anything.
If it is possible?
Tell me please.
Thanks a lot !!!

Not entirely sure what the first part meant, but the reason you're crashing is because you have another mod (buildcraft) trying to use ID 170.
what I mean before is
Is it possible to make minecraft client download the bbmm setting and texture from the minecraft server automatically(maybe like the texture pack do)?
Or to embed the bbmm setting and texture into the save folder?
And people can open the map normally whether there bbmm setting is same with the map creator or not.
//any example for Creating Custom World Generation-> generate chest contents ?
I don't know how to do
Another question, where is the text file the edit program in the mod saved?

For the files and textures to be downloaded from the server one is trying to connect to (I've looked into it before) and I think I -may- be able to get it to work in the future, but since the blocks, items, recipes, etc are loaded upon starting the client. In order for this to work seamlessly would require that the files be downloaded from the server and then somehow force them to be reloaded on the client.
The reason the textures work for the server regardless is because the important data (blocks, items) are already loaded when you start the client. When one connects to a forced-texture server, the blocks already existed and are just using a separate texture by the same name. It may seem confusing, but I hope it explains the situation.
The BBMM Interface program automatically puts the .bbmm files into .minecraft/bbmm for you to eliminate the needs for drag-n-drop.
As far as chest contents go for custom world generation, I'd have to see your file (if you have one), else just follow the directions in the README.

I want to make box content for the one at last line, but I didn't know how to do.
I have read the readme.txt but I didn't know where toput loot, id, number, damage, min chance, max chance, weight andsize, min, max .
The BBMM Interface program works fine.
But for me,the problem is, I didn't install minecraft at default place.
I installed it in another folder,
I put the BBMM.jar alongside the .minecraft folder, make my setting.
However,after I click the bottom,nothing happened.
I am confused about where the file saved

I hate anyone asking questions without trying to find answer by himself. It does not only waste our time, but also waste his.

Alright, here we go. Any loot you add should go after your final data set and the size declaration goes directly after all loot declarations, right before the line that says END.
Your .bbmm file will be in appdata/Roaming/.minecraft/bbmm.
Not a problem. Just look forward to more updates in the future; I have some new interesting features and a user interface in the works!

Any way to change the id bbmm occupied?
I though it strange because I have't created any new blocks though bbmm.
No, use Buildcraft's config and change it. BBMM uses a block ID for the custom worldgen feature.
