Also I wanted to do some research before answering to you, the idea is fun, and possible to make, but I'm quite sure there is a mod for that, that I can't remember, obviously to have jet packs as part of RR is very convenient, but in the other hand it will render the base defenses and structures useless if I don't make flying brief and expensive, in that case should come as a tier 4 after I finish developing the machines.

Hi, np, if you running RR 1.5.2e and Forge Recommended-1.5.2 7.8.1.737 , the crash cause is not Rival Rebels, chances are that your version of OF is not updated or some other mod is causing it. To troubleshoot, I recommend to temporarily clear the mod folder, delete the config files and run one mod at the time to find out.

I have figured it out it was the GLSL Shaders mod that was crashing. Looks like I'm not having beautiful Shading anytime soon.
In my opinion the bombs must be influenced by the gravity and it is necessary that the bombs can be detoneted from the distance or is necessary a bomber like the b-29
or a b-2
or a b-52
or a TU-95
that releses the bomb already activated.
P.S.: this is an idea, not a critic: the mod is beautiful... and crazy
This is my absolute FAVORITE mod EVER! Maybe you could add a bomber or predator missile drone. Or rings for the Tsar Bomba nuclear mushroom cloud. OR make the nuclear bombs obey gravity!

Hoppers can work with tsar bombs?i mean using hoppers to deliver the fuse by turning off the redstone signal that disable the hopper with the fuse in it ,making like so some sort of remote detonator using ender chests and comparators (since wireless redstone is not available)to send the signal to unlock the fuse holding hopper.
That's very clever! Though the chunk have to be loaded , but remote detonation is a must do for proper testing simulations
Always place a chunk loader near the bomb and you are good to go,BTW my testing sites are always in the middle of villages.
i haven't tried to place the bomb underground yet, like tunneling under the enemy base build bomb ,create the remote detonation device ,reach a place with a nice view of the base ,pull out the item from the ender chest and enjoy the fireworks!
There is a reactor something in the creative tab of this mod what it is for?is not explained on the site.
Underground, the original nuke is quite a show... In the other hand, the Tsar works better at the surface. The reactor and the laptop controller are not finished, meaning I made the render modelings but I haven't had the time to implement their features. So right now they are just props..
BTW I updated the mod again to fix the glitches of the 1.6.2 beta release.

Hey, sorry I missed the small print... But adding rings to the Tsar will increase the render load that it is already heavy, I mean the blast follow by the fireball and the huge cloud. Thats evident on the first three sizes of the Tsar where i had to remove the fireball effect.
The drone is planned
The remote detonation device for the tsar bomb work fine it only need an hopper facing the hatch of the bomb and 2 ender chest(vanilla or from the ender storage mod) ,one goes on top of the hopper and the second one in a place with a good view of the test area possibly away enough to not get blasted away by the explosion ,then after finishing the assembly the bomb (leaving only the fuse missing) go the the second ender chest and place the fuse inside then after 30 seconds or so enjoy the fireworks!
Underground explosions give a great result too ,the site was in a cave under a village :result no village anymore just a big crater in its place.
Actualy i have used enderchests since they are safer to use no redstone needed (real wireless remote devices) and less possibilty to die for the blast (but you can die suffocated by the wall of dirt that get created by the explosion like it almost happened to me).
Hi, Hellgate!, on the new version of the mod RR 1.6.2E you can set the < NuclearBombCountdown=25 > on the config file from 25 to 0, meaning that the nukes now will blow up with no delay, (no count down time), so you can pushing a button or pulling a lever and the Tsar will instantly detonate using your hopper system. For now, this only works on single player, unless the server has the exact same settings in its config file. The config time set was present in previous versions, but a glitch prevented the zero count time to work properly.
Please remember to delete the old config files if you are updating to version 1.6.2E or the Tsar nuke will crash your game!!!

That's very clever! Though the chunk have to be loaded , but remote detonation is a must do for proper testing simulations
Underground, the original nuke is quite a show... In the other hand, the Tsar works better at the surface. The reactor and the laptop controller are not finished, meaning I made the render modelings but I haven't had the time to implement their features. So right now they are just props..
BTW I updated the mod again to fix the glitches of the 1.6.2 beta release.

Hey, sorry I missed the small print... But adding rings to the Tsar will increase the render load that it is already heavy, I mean the blast follow by the fireball and the huge cloud. Thats evident on the first three sizes of the Tsar where i had to remove the fireball effect.

Hi, Hellgate!, on the new version of the mod RR 1.6.2E you can set the < NuclearBombCountdown=25 > on the config file from 25 to 0, meaning that the nukes now will blow up with no delay, (no count down time), so you can pushing a button or pulling a lever and the Tsar will instantly detonate using your hopper system. For now, this only works on single player, unless the server has the exact same settings in its config file. The config time set was present in previous versions, but a glitch prevented the zero count time to work properly.
Please remember to delete the old config files if you are updating to version 1.6.2E or the Tsar nuke will crash your game!!!
