doesn't work if your game isn't in appdata\roaming
if it's working for you then only thing that is broken is the mod, instead of looking for game directory first, and then checking the sounds file, it just checks sounds file in appdata...
no sounds for me then. will try to contact the mod author but I doubt that he will understand the translator.. (if someone know japanese, please help!)
just to be clear, if your game is in other directory than default coping all the sound files + config to AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods\littleMaidMobX\assets\lmmx\sounds
when there is second config in Actual Game Directory\mods\littleMaidMobX\assets\lmmx\sounds
and you can't just remove the second config cause it's regenerating it self everytime you launch the game
Ah, you're right, forgot about custom launchers, sorry. As long as you have the folder structure of \mods\littleMaidMobX\assets\lmmx\sounds then I believe you should be OK, as the code looks first for the mod's location, then starts appending the subfolders as part of its initialization routines. So for your custom launcher just replace the appdata\roaming\.minecraft with the appropriate location.

Hey, the 1.7.10 version isn't compatible with iChun's morph.. If you morph into a LittleMaidMob, its morph is just nothingness.

Caution [1.7.10 version]: If you use a server, you must delete the Zabuton folder, as it causes server crash on init due to Zabuton trying to start client rendering serverside. Other than that, I've so far successfully gotten LMM1.7.10 to run on a server in a modpack I've been building. I can provide crash logs if necessary.
Question if anybody knows: How does the Multibench work / what does it do? I'm not having any luck finding documentation on it.

Thanks for the heads-up; can the player morph back into themselves afterwards or does it cause more serious problems? (I'll just blacklist it for now, easier that way.)
back in 1.6, you crashed if you morphed into a littlemaid. At least that's an upgrade. As for the multibench there is no documentation whatsoever yet. What i'm thinking is that it'll be to craft the guns? And that's "possibly" just me. Put the crashlog to pastebin and throw it here
what Biome are you in? if you're in a desert then they will pant, i rarely go to deserts thanks to Grimoire of Gaia, but i know hot biomes make tame maids pant but i dont remember if they still did other sounds or just panted a lot
Huh? they pant in the dessert? i'm not in a dessert, i'm using BOP could it be a bug?
Discovered a new server crash for 1.7.10. If a player attempts to use the maid spawn egg, it causes a crash. Log is as follows: http://pastebin.com/wPT8fpnw (can provide other logs if needed.)
I hate to bring up old stuff... But I'm trying to run the mod on forge 1.6.4 with the updated LMM mod that was provided awhile back.
Everything works... except the sound pack.
I'm currently at my wits end with the darn thing. It won't play the sounds no matter what I do. I've tried placing it in the virtual/legacy/sound folder but it doesn't work, and I've tried resource packs with no luck either.

I suppouse that you have already tried the resource pack wich gave KuroNeko a few post ago. If so, try using MultiMc instead of vanilla launcher. It wont delete the sound in the folder in each launch.

That's the thing though. Minecraft doesn't delete the sound folder when I start it up, or at least that's what I'm seeing. When I exit/startup the game, the littleMaidMod folder is still in the sound folder with all the sound files. It's really strange...
I have two sound folders actually... one of them is "sound" while the other is "sounds". Does it matter which place I put them into?
EDIT: After failing to get it to work... I've decided to just switch to 1.6.2 and play there, as reading through the thread suggests that the 1.6.2 build is far more stable for playing.

It is very important actually. But... I forget in which one the sounds go You can try putting them in both though.

Yeah, you do have a point, but maybe somebody could fix it, or is it just too HIIGHHH-TEECHHNIICCALLLLLLLLLL for the Morph to work correctly?

Maid models are not like the common mob sadly. They're more complex. but I think it is doable but what would have to change is Morph, not LMM. If you want to be a maid, I suggest Playerform littlemaid

I haven't been able to test the file much because I've been busy making and balancing a modpack/server.

Remember of the biome dictionary and how certain mod biomes inherit the qualities of the vanilla ones
