I would like to know how I can completely reset all my Thaumcraft Research. I would like to start from the very beginning of the mod once again, but I don't know how to do that. Achievements seem to be stored by player name instead of world save and so starting a new world does nothing to reset my research. I had a an issue with the research and there seems to be no way of fixing it.
I had begun research on several things and then my save file was corrupted by a bad mod combo and so I had to start a new world, but to my dismay I was unable to start over again with Thaumcraft and had no idea how to continue where I left off. There seems to be some half researched theories in my Achievements Menu, but I'm unable to regain a copy of those research notes to finish the theory. It is very frustrating and I've been looking for a way to fix this since 1.3, but haven't found anything.
...So, I would like very much to start over again if it is possible. Thank you very much in advance for helping me find the solution.
I read your conditions for modpacks and I really hope you're in a good mood, because I want to ask you for permissions to include your awesome Thaumcraft 3 mod in my upcoming challenging modpack. I will respect every answer from you but your mod will be a big part of those challenges and I got almost every permission from the big mods (most through licenses) and I would be grateful to have your permission too!

If you actually read the OP on how he feels about modpacks, you would know that as long as it is for a private server, it is fine, but no public mod packs have a chance. If you don't personally know him, don't expect to get a public pack for it.
The golem does nothing. Isn't it supposed to carry the essentia to the empty warded jars inside the chest?
No. The Decanting Golem carries a Warded Jar around, and will fill up other marked Warded Jars, that are placed in-world, not in a chest.
I.e - Put Warded Jars down, mark them with whatever colour you want to, tell the golem what colour that is, and it'll run around taking essentia from the Alembics to the Jars.

WIll newer thaumcraft versions (3.1) be added to both, 1.5.2 and 1.6.X or just 1.6? sorry, if this is a stupid question, but i'd be slightly disappointed, i'm not going to update further than 1.5.2...and i love this mod.

There's a much broader spectrum for reasons why someone wouldn't want to update. Personally, I'm not updating because 1.6 doesn't really offer anything I'm terribly interested in.
I may update later once all the mods I use are updated, but for now I have no intentions or desire to update.
What makes you think I was ever being reasonable? I'm sitting here with a pile of guns while wearing a flamethrower, and you thought that, at some point, I was being reasonable?
Is there or can I have a setting to reduce or disable wisp spawns? Or can we have them connected to the regular entity spawn max count? Or even a auto despawn code if more than lets say 150 wisps are in the same area?
Would it be possible to have the golems not open the chests when they remove or place blocks. I plan to make a large golem sorting system and initial tests have driven me completely mad with the chest sounds repeated on many chests at once.

To be fair, he said before that he's ported the 3.1 dev environment to 1.6
And holy crap, Azanor, the visuals on the Golemancy Bell are sexy. I definitely am looking forward to whatever else 3.1 will bring.
Are you making good progress on the research restructure/Essentia changes?
