Released version 2.6_3 and added the Update Checker. Compatible with Forge #883+, earlier versions not tested.

Released a new version (v2.6_4) and added support for Leaves. Now you can convert your leaves just like the planks and other stuff!

Does this work with Ore Dictionary woods or is it vanilla-only? It'd be really handy to be able to convert ore dictionary woods to vanilla ones.

There is no Ore Dictionary support, but I will post Add-Ons for BoP, Natura, EbXL and more as soon as possible.

New version released (v2.6_5)! You can now convert your saplings, thanks to DragonpokeZ for the idea! I also fixed the incompatiblity with some of the newer Forge releases! The 1.7.4 Update is still waiting for Forge to be updated. I will not update to 1.7.2, as there's still no stable release of Forge out.

The mod is now updated to 1.7.2!! New things for this version:

Updated to 1.7.2
added support for the two new wood types (Dark Oak & Acacia)
changed update message (If there is a new version availabl, you will now see what I added/fixed )
added update message configuration
fixed update checker showing wrong message

I don't think dyeing wood would be a good option, because we don't have proper dyes in Minecraft for that. I could add them, yes, but I'd also like to keep the mod as simple as possible.

Actually installing mods on macs is pretty simple just hit command + shift + g and put this into the text box
/Users/(name of user/username login name thingy)/Library/Application Support/minecraft

I would love to use this mod in my mod pack my only problem I discovered is that one of my mods includes "compressed wood"
which means.

9 oak = 1 compressed oak
9 compressed oak = 1 compact oak

and so forth for all items in vanilla theres no way to stop the other mod or to config it to ignore those blocks.

so can you perhaps add a config that we can change the recipe to how to get these oaks or wood or ect?
