A thing could be good to be done is if all porters unite in a single repository to develop a unique and solid port of the mod for 1.10 and beyond, instead of a hundred of parallel bugged ports. We dont know how future "challenges" to port (if Forge mess everything) will exist.

Jay is using a fork of my repository, i believe i was the original person to request fork and update it and i try to keep in sync with what Jay has done
MoeBoy's 1.7.10 version of this mod is booting me out of the server when I use the command /nbtedit. It looks, to my very basic knowledge, like TileRequestPacket is missing a constructor. Here is the server's disconnect error:

I also need help server-side. I am trying to set it up on 1.7.10 FTB Infinity Evolved and the server wont let you connect to it once i put it in and it has no error in the console. Client-Side it says before in the server select screen: Pinging... and has the red connection bar.

i recommend updating to at least 1.8.9 as i have 0 plans (and i'm sure Jay doesn't either) to touch anything before then, so you are on your own with your 2 year old MC version
Made a few changes and updated to the new minecraft/forge versions
Added a key binding. By default its not set to a key, to set it; Esc -> Options -> Controls -> Its under Miscellaneous. (It is so much nicer then spamming /nbtedit)
Changed the packet system to not be as stupid and hacky + makes it easier to maintain

Both client and server have to be updated to work :/ had to break backwards compatibility.
I LOVE YOU
in a not weird kind of way.
The other nbtedit for 1.10, well it does work but
You can not tell a string from a byte or anything else when looking at an existing object.
unless you have memorized the entire nbt format and structure, its terrible to use.
This one was always the most intuitive, i could look at any existing object and know that this needs to be a byte, and that is a string etc and easily create custom mobs, treasure chests etc etc.
Thank you for taking the time to keep this functional
the 1.10 version should work fine in 1.11 with no changes once it has been recompiled, the version I have integrated into pokecube didn't need changes when I updated it to 1.11
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.
Sounds, Textures and additional Pokemobs can be added by also using the following mod:
note that Pokécube Core requires
Updated to 1.11. The 1.11 version has a config option to allow editing other players. I use it on my server to debug sometimes.
If you want that back ported just let me know.
