I'm having a hard time understanding some of these instructions.. I'm trying to make it so that only 1 world will be shown (Halion) and all other worlds wont even show up on the list. I included a paste bin. If someone could please show me what i'm doing wrong here that would be great!
I don't want the other 4 worlds I have to render at all, and If I can get it so that they don't even show up on the list, even better. Also can we get rid of "caves" mode?
hi, im Acronza1, im trying to use this plugin but for some reason i keep running into problems.
first off, the map does not load up when i put the ip and port into the browser bar
second, the guy i have running the plugins for my server cant edit the config file for this plugin, it keeps saying that its not editable.
and third, when i do /dynmap fullrender it says that it ran into an internal error fulfilling the command.
is there a way to fix this?
hold on, i need to ask this before you respond to my first question, does this plugin work with mods that add biomes and dimensions like Biomes o' Plenty, Orespawn and RWBYcraft?

The other thing I'm curious about is if World_Nether, World_The_End really have a big letter at the start of each word. If not, then change that as well.
no. it creates a map you can visit using a browser.
if you want i minimap, i use rei's minimap. works perfect for me :-)
I see, thank you for telling me. I already use a minimap (Zan's minimap) myself, so I am good on that. I used to use Rei's minimap, but it did not have a teleport function, so I started using the other one.
I've been having a problem with map rendering since we switched our server to Bukkit 1.8. It renders slowly, and when it does render it is very spotty. Sometimes it will fully render a small area. Here is what my map looks like currently. I am currently running dynmap-2.1.jar and had the same problem with the 2.1-alpha version. I tried updating the bukkit.jar, but that had no effect. Server is currently running CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-e81edfc (MC: 1.8) (Implementing API version 1.8-R0.1-SNAPSHOT).
The only thing that got the map to function properly was to do a full render. After it completed, the map seemed to update properly and new areas would fully render as they were explored. But shortly after, or even during the render, the map would seem to reset itself. There would be no tiles rendered and new renders around a player would be spotty as shown above. Any idea what the cause is and/or what I can do to get the map to work properly? Thanks for your help.

I run a small server (2GB RAM) which is already very close to max allocation when full, will Dynmap add to my RAM usage at all, or contribute to server lag/latency?
And on setup - is it really as simple as dropping it in the plugins directory and letting it run it's default config?
Finally - are there any negative effects of removing the plugin later?

Everfree Server - A small & friendly survival build server for older 'Crafters.
I have dynmap installed on my minecraft server and on our 10kx10k map we already have over 70gb of render files (and its not even done yet!). I have plenty of storage on my server machine over all, but it is split between three drives. Currently I run the whole server and all plugins on a 120gb SSD. Additionally I have two 500gb hard drives in the machine. One is used for backups and the other is not in use. Could someone give me (or point me to) directions on how I can have my dynmap render files on a different drive? Thanks in advance.

Well, the first thing I noticed is that you forgot to put a line (-) before each world.
It should look more like this:

Build latest Spigot 1.8.3 - issue was a Spigot issue, which has since been corrected.

Is it possible that this map thing isn't compatible with some mods? The attached image shows what I am seeing.

if you mean do they have to have dynmap clientside? then no

All my maps render exactly like that, except for the flat who seems fine. Of course, they're fully generated.
