I saw the same behavior on 1.7.1. I installed the Minecraft v1.5.2 with Forge v7.8.0, MCPC-Plus v1.5.2 with the DynmapCBBridge for 1.8-alpha-2 this morning hoping that it might resolve the issue. Even though signs have been and are set to true, we have not been able to create in game sign markers since switching from Bukkit to MCPC+.
My second issue is that the forgeworld.yml file is populated with world_nether, world_nether_nether, world_the_end, and world_the_end_the_end. I have not been able to locate where the forgeworlds.yml is searching and autopopulating the 2 bad worlds. The worlds.yml file is correct and the tiles directory does not have world folders except for the 'world'.
Sign markers don't work on Forge yet.
The second issue has to do with inconsistent world naming logic between normal forge and MCPC+: if you switch from one to the other, you'll get different world names. I cannot fix it without breaking folks, so all you can do is delete the forgeworld.yml and the associated stale map folders.
I'm having an issues with signs being made markers. I set enablesigns to true then reloaded dynmap using the /reload command, and things worked well. I think I changed another setting or something else in the config then reloaded again and now I can't get the signs to appear as markers any more. I'm using the right sign tag ([dynmap] by itself on a line), because that worked for a bit.
I'm on MC 1.5.2 with craftbukkit 1.5.2-R1.0-b2788jnks and dynmap "1.7.1-714 - core version 1.7.1-1684"
I don't see anything in the server.log about this. Not sure what else to check.
reload is flaky on some items. See if things behave properly with a proper restart.
Sorry about the slower response, didn't really have the ability to test this until now. I did a server restart earlier when tweaking a few other settings and signs seem to work again. Thanks for the fast response on this, you rock.
Strange. My maps have been working for the better part of 2 years now. Suddenly yesterday, my map renders in all black. There is nothing listed under Map Types or Players. The compass is there as well as the +/- buttons on top-left. Everything else is black. I moved my dynmap folder and started fresh with the same thing. Anyone else see this?
I am looking for a method to pull the world/server time and use it as a variable on my servers website. Since your plugin already pulls the world time can you give me a hint as to where I can call it and use it as a php variable? Or perhaps simply save it in a text file on the server?

Same is going on with me! I reinstalled the plugin to the newest update and it still wont work. Please help.
You are simply amazing. This plugin is like the golden child with the diamond father. I am humbled by your work.
(The fact that you fix problems before I find them is scary...)
I'm having problems with not figuring out how to scroll though the chat history in a browser.
I have set the "Scrollback" and "visiblelines" config settings several times with different numbers (above 100), and have reset the server several times.
We can chat just fine between the server and the browser, just I haven't figured out how to scroll thought the history. Any scrolling on the mouse causes the world to zoom in and out, and I've tried all sorts of combinations of key strokes and up page and down page.
I have not found any information on how the "Scrollback" works in the browser to view past messages that might have been missed.
I'm sure this a simple fix or explanation, but it should be more thoroughly explained on the configuring set-up webpage.
I love that you added support for showing Naturas blocks since I use that on my server. Is there any chance you could add NumiRP? I really can't figure out how to add it myself (which makes me feel stupid). NumiRP really does nothing else but to add the blocks, gems, lights and tools from RedPower2 so you already "kinda" have support for them. (By changing the id's to the same as used by RP2 earlier my old maps still works thanks to NumiRP).
The problem I found with adding the blocks myself (when I really know nothing about how it's done) is that just making some small changes in the RP2 template doesn't work since the changes in handling the sprites changed between 1.4.x and 1.5.x. :S
Where are map names etc located? I deleted the ENTIRE dynmap file off my server and the 'extra' maps won't go away, I've tried using the /dmap delete worldname:map command but it says they aren't loaded so I can't ....
I have a quick question with regard to having dynmap placing its tiles files in a different location.
I have a VPS server with a few game servers on it. Minecraft is really read and write heavy as I'm sure you know so I have an SSD that is runs on. Problem is SSD space is really limited so Dynmap creates a lot of data and just eats away at the space we have. We have another hard drive on the server that we store data for other game servers on. We have more than enough space to store a dynmap on that hard drive.
Can dynmap be set up to run on two different hard drives but still accessed via the http://your.server.ip:8123 method or once you start splitting the directories to separate locations can you only access the map via a web server interface? I can set up a web server but currently we don't really need one running on our server since everything we do simply revolves around games. So if I can avoid doing that I would be really grateful.

Hey Mike, is it remotely possible since there's a show-mcr option to have an option to display a grid of the MCR regions as an overlay?
Probably a bad time to ask being with the new release and all. I'd consider attempting to write a plugin for it for bukkit (since I'm most familiar with bukkit) but I have no idea how to delve into dynmap's API to even begin, and I'm not that great in the first place.

That already exists. In the config at line 147 just change show-mcr: false
to show-mcr: true
Have an annoying problem with maps when running a MCPC+ server and Multiverse.
When multiverse unloads a map and then loads it again the map get a new _# number in the forgeworlds.yml.
So if a map was named DIM1_1 it a DIM1_2 get added. DIM1_1 is still there and will reapear if I remove it.
Since The_end is unloaded when no players are there it creates a new name for it in forgeworlds which makes the map fill up with old named maps that doesn't work and a new one that does.
For example. I added the world DIM1 in the worlds.yml file and named it The End so it looked better on the map. It works as long as the map is loaded. After the map is unloaded and then loaded again I still have "The End" as a map that shows all that it rendered before unloading and below it I get a DIM1_1 map that is the new The end map. The old doesn't really work anymore since it only shows the old tiles.
Since the DIM1 world get readded to forgeworld.yml if I remove its entry there my map get filled up with non-working maps. Tried first to add the old maps to worlds.yml and setting "enable: false" but that really doesn't help since next time it will be a new mapname....
*** Version 1.8-alpha-3 released for Bukkit and Forge ***

Add support for Resource Packs (used the same as Texture Packs)
Update support for CTM texture and resource packs

Thanks, but I have that option enabled. It shows which region I'm in with the mouse next to the coordinates, but I don't see an overlay grid on the map itself. I'm looking to cut out regions wholesale, and a visual line would be most helpful in knowing what I have to be surgical about and what I can blatantly disregard all cares of careful and blow up whole files.

Try running a newer build : your web files are for 1.6, which is obsolete.
