It's to be expect. I believe MCPC is still technically in alpha, so crashing with mods installed is expected. There should be a note though, that one should test out the mod on a VanillaForge server before reporting any issues involving MCPC.
What I want to know, is if we "add up" items to a certain EMC value, will we be able to transmute into an item that has that value? If so, there age going to be some items that have no way of being accessed...
I agree about replacements being potentially harmful, though I'm not entirely sure what you're calling for us to do if not develop our own mod replacement.
On the subject of the Christmas release, judging from what I know about the progress of the mod and the news about it, I'd venture a guess and say DynEMC will be at least somewhat functional with some output for the values it can extrapolate, be that the new alchemy circle mechanic I've heard rumors about, or maybe just some variations of the minium stone recipes. Nobody can say for sure at this point, of course.
The replacements that take the attention of the mod away are annoying like Project Red. Now nobody but Eloraam knows how long RedPower2 can take.
What is the Alchemy Circle supposed to be? I tried the builds and it looks so confusing. I tried in creative, no clue what is going on. Can you try and explain it please? Im not in the inner circle(why did I put that?) of the progress. Here is what Pahimar said we could expect http://www.pahimar.com/ee3/ee3-pre2-development-continues/
I wonder what the recipes could be? Hmm.

Can you expand on that idea? Please, give an example, for all of us?

Well no one will like you for bashing anyone that is different than the boring average person. You are going to be a greedy person that sends jobs to China and earn more than all of the average people COMBINED. You say I complain. Maybe, but I have an opinion unlike you. So you think apathy is giving you a choice? No it isn't this mod I won't use EVER. I hope whoever uses this mod finds that if they download mods with it, their game crashes. Hope you feel good about people putting anti mod code in their mods. At this rate Pahimar will not be allowed to touch my Minecraft.jar, hope you have a nice day when I delete EE3 from my computer, block it, and no one can send me a link. Goodbye, you apathetic ongoer.
If you're not gonna download it, can you please just stop complaining about it? I mean honestly, do you TRULY think complaining about it will HELP? It's not gonna speed up progress, that's for sure! As for you just being impatient, too bad, we've all been waiting and most of us haven't gone into pure rage like you have.

Oh jeez, leave me alone. You have lost your trust anyway.

My guess for the Dec. 25th release (version 0.0) is that the Minium Stone will have its recipes added back. However, instead of the hardcoded ones, it'll be running on dynEMC, which is actually mostly functional right now (as far as I know). It'll also feature IC2 support and maybe alchemy circles/squares.
Looks liked you calmed down a bit, that's good. Next time you have objections, don't go around insulting everybody and do it in a civilized manner :P. Basically what madrauk said.

Question, is the alchemy circle a transmutation block, or a fancy mechanic? We should share our knowledge and see if we have a database of info. Maybe we can come to terms as long as our opinions work. Another question do you know if the philosopher stone will be craftable or not? And would it have more durability (infinite) instead of limited? I know you might not know, but what release is the 25th?

No idea. Philosopher's stone will still most likely be without a crafting recipe, as pahimar has stated before that it will be crafted in-world with Red Water (which isn't implemented yet). The December 25th release will be version 0.0 (specifically, EquivalentExchange3-0.0.#, where # is the build number, eg EquivalentExchange3-0.0.30).

Not much except a dynEMC tweak to fix the EMC value being screwed up when a container item was involved.
Another question. What is 'Matter' EMC and 'Fuel' EMC? That is confusing me, also will the fuel conversion coal--charcoal be back soon, and has the transmutation recipes been fixed from the 1.4/1.5 glitch of the stone giving up?
Remember the "locks" in EE2? Yeah, those are coming back as EMC types, and will be far more closely enforced. It sounds like there will be more of them too.

How do I know whats "Matter" and "Fuel" I know there are furnace fuels, but what is the EMC differences?

Presumably, each item will be made up of different types of EMC, like "corporeal" or "combustible" or something like that. We are assuming at this time that there will be some inefficiency when converting one type of EMC to another, while also speculating that there will be some kind of end-game EMC type that can be perfectly converted into any other type but is more expensive or inefficient to create.
For example, say Coal is made up of 32 corporeal emc and 32 combustible emc. If you were to transmute that into emc and use the 32 corporeal emc to create cobblestone, which we'll say is 1 corporeal emc, you could make 32 cobblestone. But, if we tried to use the 32 combustible emc to make cobblestone, it may make only 8 cobblestone.
Please note all the above emc values are made up and we don't really know how this will work yet.

I thought the recipes make up an emc value, not the loss of emc.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but If you think EMC is lost when you convert items to EMC, they should lose that EMC only when being converted to another type of EMC.

He said that if you have tons of ways to make an item, it analyses it and then gives an average cost. I don't think he wanted to make it lose energy as you convert it.
New build!
The MCPC stuff is probably still unfixed, unfortunately.

That's about the extent of what I understand about the circle mechanic, which is why I put it forward so tentatively.

Edit: I couldn't give a flying crap whether I have your trust or not.

MCPC stuff still not fixed...and after Lomeli12's comment I tested this on a vanilla/forge server and it loads without incident so i posted an issue on the MCPC+ Github https://github.com/MinecraftPortCentral/MCPC-Plus/issues/474
Perhaps they can get a fix in the server so we can enjoy this mod on December 25 like everyone else!
