I have a few things to say, BEING a massive fan of this mod:
1: The minium stone doesen't work for me, like at all. Is that how it should be? The alchemical bags, the transmutation and cslcinator works fine.
2: I can't for the Love of minecraft see recent (as of this summer) updates from this mod. Pahimars Twitter and github don't tell me anything other than that the mod works for 1.8. But features are unchanged. Amy news on the promises he puts here and there?
1) Only those have really been implemented at this point. Dusts are being changed and things like the matters and stones have not been implemented, hence why they do not work.
2) Last actual update was a couple months ago. Pahimar has been busy updating to 1.8.9+ and ensuring that the DynEMC aspect of the mod works above all else before he finishes moving forward. I get updates on WIP items from the mod and bugs due to subscribing to his github.
No offense, but why did Equivalent Exchange ever have to change in the first place? It was so easy and simple AND balanced back in 1.5.2, when all you had to do was kill some monsters, make the rock and have a limited choice on item exchanges. Why in the world did they have to change it??? Ever hear the term 'if it aint broke, don't fix it?' Guess what, the creator of this mod done goofed bad!
All I want is my little rock back. Is that so difficult? There's no need for points, or machines, or any other complicated bs. Just let me exchange some of my ores, maybe some wood, and obsidian. I personally don't understand why copy cats never came out to copy this idea. Instead, they all decided to copy the op version! But that's the version no one wanted to use! No clue....

Because that was always the plan in the long run. Pahimar just didn't have the time back then to begin implementing everything, so he left it at the Minium Stone and simple exchanges. If you don't like it, there are other options on Curseforge. You just have to look for them.

ProjectE exists. It's a remake of the old EE2.
