Oh come on
lets these rhymes be gone
for I am a wizard
transmute you to a lizard
now lets end this chain
though with so much pain
for transmuting rhymes
is a well know crime...
*grins... knowing this won't be the end*
Oh and I need to ask a question... are Pahimar are you making anything for us magic folk that could attempt to compete with machine-muses modular suits? not a modular suit but something powerful enough to fight it without dying, because EE2 was the only mod I knew with some sort of super suit capable of killing mega technical foes?
I'm not a true rhymer
I'm only a miner.
And you took a line
from me which was mine.
But left this aside
your text is quite right
and good for this topic
and now I want stop it.
Oh I did take your line sorry for stealing
But you must admit, my rhyme was appealing
I transmute coal to diamond
With my powerful rhymin'
I hold a philosopher stone
But use power of my own
I'm not one to cross
End come and you'll know whos boss
I can see now you're a formidable foe
But I'll win in the end, and now I must go
It's an unfortunate shame what this mod has become.
Balls to you and your hopeless negativism, sir, criticizing an unfinished mod as though it was the end goal of an otherwise meaningful existence.
What you've said is rather unkind, and I don't find any compliment in it, personally.
If you'd seen half the things that are yet unimplemented, and how amazingly close things are to fruition, I think you'd change your tune.
It's not EE, it's not EE2, and it's indefensible to be so blatantly rude about the turn the mod is taking.
Pah deserves a fresh start; if you or any of my other less appreciative fans realized how poorly coded the original EE was, you'd understand why the development is taking so long, and how much painstaking effort is going into making the newest iteration the best it can possibly be.
Your criticism lacks any element of constructiveness.
EDIT:
If you intend to affect the outcome of anything, you could try voicing your opinions in a manner that doesn't belie your ability to use actual words, give actual reasons, and express distaste at things with some specificity, rather than just spewing your vitriol in a short blurb about how disappointed you are.
It's an unfortunate shame what this mod has become.
Its a bit hard to say anything against what a mod "has become" when its not done. At the very least withholding criticism till after a finished product is released might be a good idea. You are probably one of those people who wonder why mod authors don't share beta and pre-releases with the general public. This type statement would be one of the reasons why they don't.
It's an unfortunate shame what this mod has become.
With such a high post count I can't believe you just said that. And you can't say that this is a shame since this mod is still a pre-release. You would be ashamed of yourself when this mod is finished. (Because this will be awesome.)
EDIT: So many typos.
Love how quiet this place is until a stupid person shows up. And you guys wonder why nobody reads the OP when they're the only ones we pay attention to
Not only do you produce an excellent mod and hunt down obscure bugs, you give even more back to the community in the form of a modding tutorial and a server for the mod developers. Thank you for FC, if there was no such thing as ForgeCraft (or PahiCraft) there would be no Jaded to break mods, and with no broken mods, there would be no stable ones either.
I love the direction that EE3 is going in and I wish for that to continue. Here is $45 CAD in the hope that you will never grow tired of the repetitive suggestions that plague this thread and maybe you could put your feet up and have a nice hot cup of coffee.

ALL RIGHT, WHY DID 3 VERY INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE JUST SHOW UP ALMOST IN A ROW TO CONGRATULATE PAHIMAR?

p.s: You have the most relaxing voice ever.
Oh man, you really didn't need to do that, but I do appreciate it
It's an unfortunate shame what this mod has become.
This mod hasn't 'become' anything. EE3 is NOT EE2. While it may be, in the end, an extension of EE2, it is also an extension of EE1, furthermore it isn't even finished yet.
Regardless of it's relationship to EE1 and EE2 it is managed much better-with, what, a better knowledge of available tools or time to use these tools... I don't really know-as the current developer has a page open specifically for reporting bugs, where you actually get individual feedback on your reports (rather than posting here where there is so much being done at once that individualized feed back is difficult). By this I mean no offense to the original dev, we all have our circumnstances and I (at least, and at least try to) recognize this.
EE3 will be better than EE1/2 ever was, it's just taking longer than, I'm sure, any of us want... but even that is completely understandable. He is completely rewriting the code. EE2's continuation was based upon code this developer hadn't written~until he took over~and even that code which was done by him was done with less understanding/knowledge of programming... It's like the difference between Halflife and Halflife2-with two major exceptions: 1) We aren't waiting (what was it, 6, more?) years to get access to it and 2) we are allowed to use it while it's in development.
Sure, I would rather him go class by class and only rewrite (then deprecate) the old code, but even that would have taken weeks or months to begin, continue and complete (he would have had to update it to 1.3, then 1.4, then 1.5-I really hate the way Minecraft updates are managed... Learn to use Java properly, dammit!) and THEN he would have been able to begin rewriting the code-case by case. It is nearly infinitely easier to simply scrap the old and start the new in nearly all cases, so that's what he did...
If your comment is about the lack of features currently (as compared to EE2) or the differences in what things do (which there really isn't as the original editions of EE2 worked almost exactly like this before EMC appeared) then get over it and recognize that this is an incomplete ALPHA that we are privileged to have the opportunity to use... Most of the old stuff will be coming back, if with minor changes, to make what this developer sees as a balanced addition to the game. And, frankly, you have no right to tell him you think it should be otherwise as you aren't the one making it, supporting it (financially, or otherwise), or even helping with it...

This is likely a better and shorter version of what I had to say, so I agree completely.
I'm sorry to say this, but I am sick and tired of this crap. First of all. It's not a lie to say that people loved EE2 more than this. People came to that mod because it was different. It added awesome, godly items to aim for after diamonds. After 1.2.5 came around, you just left your fans in the absolute dark. The only reason people are still playing 1.2.5 tekkit classic and other old modpacks like that, are because EE2 is not updated to this version. All of the other mods in those packs are though. You come back months later, stating that you're removing everything from the old mod that people loved, in order to create some ty looking EE3, you approached it with no clear vision on what will happen with the new EE
You apparently begin the development on the mod, yet after almost a whole ing year, the only bloody things available are a couple of transmute stones and some random blocks like the calcinator. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE CRAFTING RECIPES. The alchemy bags aren't working (you can't put items in them) and when i use the phili stone on the side of a block, the game crashes. I am not seeing progress or dedication. If you actually want to see this mod go anywhere, i would suggest you crack down on the development. If you don't care about it enough to properly develop it, then my best advice would be stop it completely. Your reputation is what's at stake
We're tired of seeing your half assed efforts being released as download links. We don't want a buggy, depleted version of a mod that used to be so HIGH AND MIGHTY.
It's open source so everyone can use the code, yet i'm sorry to say this, but People don't give much of a about this version of the mod (if they do, the community is small/kissing your ass). if you actually cared about your fans, you would have made EE2 open source so that modders could update it. I understand that it is "your" mod and you wanted a clean break from EE2, yet in the end, who are you making it for? yourself? or all of your disappearing fans.
I really think you need to take a good long think about what you have done to the EE2 community. Everywhere, people are screaming out, asking you why you suddenly decided to get rid of a mod we all loved and replace it with some eternally unfinished and buggy EE3. You make this version of the mod, which we don't give a flying about open source, yet deprive the community of the code for EE2. The mod WE ACTUALLY give a about.
I used to have a whole lot of respect for you and your mod pahimar, but what iv'e seen lately is a just a whole load of crap. It almost looks as if you have stopped caring for the mod and the community.
To any of your ass kissing fanboys/girls, or dumb people who think they are quite intelligent by responding in an oh-so-smart-way, do you really think that the mod is amazing and should not be judged as it is still a WIP. I have a news flash for you. The mod has been a "WIP" for about a whole year now. Nothing much has changed. Also, if you're going to say he devotes time and effort into the mod to get up to good standard, you're definitely lying to yourself. If he was really devoted to his fans and his mod, EE3 wouldn't exist. If it did though, it would definitely be MUCH farther along than it is now. DEVOTED is what the Aether team are. They work their butts off day and night, just to get their mod up to scratch. and you know what? I actually see PROGRESS THERE. I don't give a about your comments unless the comment comes from Pahimar Himself. I'd really like to find out what he thinks about his half assed decisions and why he thinks that we're all okay with this .
*cough*dark matter armor*cough*
heh...NOPE. Seriously, don't try to ask pahimar to do something that he's already said IN THE EAQ he's not going to do.
At least he caused a trip in the rhyme chain.

Oh, and your eyes. It is possible to transmute some things into other.
Can't yet
