EE3 is good but it would be better if it was a balanced version of EE and EE3 (EE2 was really too op)
Thats what EE3 is gonna be, a balanced iteration. Thats why Pahi is coding DynEMC (dynamic EMC values) and new versions of many of the items, blocks, and mechanics
Might want to report what kind of rig you have. Graphics Card, CPU, RAM, OS, etc. (That will help determine if it is a coding issue or hardware issue). Also, if you could confirm your OpenGL version (do they even have these anymore or is it just automatic?) and LWJGL version (this typically goes in your bin folder, but the version can be seen in Minecraft logs), and Java version. 32-bit vs 64-bit would also be good to know.
For everyone's future reference giving as much information as you can is better than, well, not. If you cannot give a Forge log tell us everything else you can (including the things listed above), otherwise we, devs, etc, cannot help you.
I am using Windows 8 Pro with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with 2.66 GHz and 4.00 GB RAM and an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 GFX card on Java 7 with a 32bit install and LWJGL v2.4.2. Is that enough information?

Windows 8 has a pro version? Surely even Microsoft should have seen the irony in that.

You still need to give us your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log (I assume you haven't as the last person to reply requested this as well).

I can't. I've run Minecraft again over and over, and another one of my mods is conflicting with EE3 and only effects the glass bell, so I can't get it anymore. As well as that, the mod that's doing it just happens to be a .jar mod.

Um...that doesn't matter, any ForgeModLoader-client-0.log should give us enough info to help you.

Right. We aren't asking for "Minecraft's" error log that the program generates when it crashes. We are asking for a file that is created and continuously generated (or edited) while Minecraft is running.
The file exists in your .minecraft folder... or, if the folder name has changed, the folder with bin, config, mods, and the others in it. As Wliu said it's called ForgeModLoader-client-0.log and there will probably be a few copies of it (ForgeModLoader-client-1.log, etc), we just need -client-0.log
Absolutely amazing mod. I'm a peaceful player and this mod really motivated me to get out and do some killing!
One thing I noticed though, not sure if anyone brought it up:
Using "Direct transmutation" on blocks, contrary to what a lot of internet documentation says, actually uses up the stone. Not sure if this is intended, is a new update compared to what the internet documentation says, or is a result of me using other mods.
Either way, it doesn't really impact my game, I'm just interested in knowing whether or not it was intended.
You're not the only one that can rhyme I'll beat you any time!
*snip*
I'm not a true rhymer
I'm only a miner.
And you took a line
from me which was mine.
But left this aside
your text is quite right
and good for this topic
and now I want stop it.

No.
We want it!
We wants it, we needs it.

Please can you read the OP please!
That is what is happening.
As usual, yet more dynEMC work (pahimar is on a dynEMC coding streak :D)
with my minium stone
I can transmute what I see
I make gold from wood
because I understood
All this magic comes for free
And it never ends
shards are in my hands
As long as mobs will die for me
*snaps fingers*

Thanks for the mod, looking forward to updates!

I love EE3
It's the mod for me
I transmute what I see
Iron to ender
It's my legal tender
I don't need to mine
All the other mods will be cryin'
