I am getting the same weird error as Wild Dog. I too am using FTB Direwolf20 and it uses Forge 480 by default.
The game launches, but I'm worried if this might create a world corruption eventually.
Hoping the error is resolved or explained, otherwise I'll need to remove it from the pack.

I guess this mod was meant more for servers, so im starting to see why people feel its broken and exploitable. I ran EE2 on my private server for my friends and roomates and we enjoyed the hell out of it, but I guess since im not playing on some official server running the technic pack or whatever im a "cheating child". Oh well it was fun while it lasted I guess, there are lots of other fun minecraft mods out there like thaumcraft.

I have FTB DireWolf 1.4.6 mod pack and decided to add in EE3 and i try to craft a ELF turtle thingy (any of them) i get this bugger and it crashes my game, Dam huh?
Someone be a Mate and tell me how to fix it?

But why change the name?
Its a nice way to keep the Franchise going. Like Thuamcraft has done. (1,2,3) and many other mod makers.
Its Just to show the progress of the mods, as time passes.
Plus, Equivalent Exchange is a known name, so with a name so famous, you don't have to go and remember the custom name made for tier 3 ee.

A large number of mods will not work if you're running Forge 6.5.0.481. You either need to downgrade to .480 or get one of the newest versions. Last I checked the current version was .486.
I am putting together a number of mods and it looks like I'm getting an error from ee3. I have narrowed it down to the Nether Ores mod and ee3 pre1e not getting along. I haven't tried out the mod yet, but by the error, it looks like it may be throwing an error because it doesn't know how to handle a recipe for Nether Ore smelting or something? I'm not sure. MINION STONE, that's the problem. In good ol' EE2 the only stuff you had to get to craft a Philosopher's Stone was a diamond, redstone and some glowstone. And now, in EE3 you have to murder A LOT of mobs to get these "Knowledge Fragments" then craft an inert stone and uhh.. IDK.Now that's a lot of work right? Yes. And I'm not a lazy cheater, i like to play with my friends and get stuff to then blast away with all the Red Matter stuff. And I'm not talking to you, I'm just making a comment, now, shut up and let me alone.

I wouldn't care but I really don't agree with any of what you're saying and really support the new direction of the mod. And honestly? 1. Pahimar and the rest of the community who wants to see this mod thrive care.
2. It's not even close to complicated. I would even say it's easier and cheaper.

Fundamentally disagree, all of the tools and mechanics in EE2 were annoying and missed the entire point of Minecraft's design. I play EE2 every time I turn on creative mode and don't need to install the mod to do it, thus much of the design was, in addition to being terrible, was also lazy and uninspired.

Sever Admins, one of the main reasons Pahimar, IN THIS VERY THREAD cited as one of the reasons he's making such massive changes to the mod's core identity, so that more people will actually use most of it rather than shut off most of it to keep their servers from being a glorified chat room bolted on to the single player creative mode.
Pahimar, there's been crashing with Direwolf's mod pack and EE3 seems to be the cause. When trying to pull a turtle from the crafting grid the game will crash.

Please provide a way to disable the creation of diamonds on servers. EE+ gregtech = 77 diamonds in a couple hours from a new world gen. I know that you should not need to balance against other mods but providing me a way to would be appreciated.
Sorry I don't have the quote but earlier this morning I saw someone who said the in game transmuting with the P-Stone and M-Stone was not working for them. Try looking in your options and controls tab and see what key your "Toggle" is set to. Mine is G. So when I hit G the Stone Im using will cycle through what transmutations are possible like dirt to sand cobble and what have you. When I first downloaded the Pre1e I thought there was something wrong with the in world transmutation also as when I would transmute grass it would turn into sand but then I couldnt change it from sand into the next block like it use to work. Then I realized that if I hit G the new Overlay that Pahimar wrote in (which I must say is friggin awesome and genius on his part) would cycle through the available transmutations....thus allowing you to choose what the block is turning into rather than the old method of cycling. Hope that helps anyone who is confused. I love EE3 already Pahimar even if you gave up for a while to get away from the ignorant people I would be happy with what is in the mod currently. That's not to say I am not super excited about all the new things you have planned though. Thank you kind sir for all that you do for the world through this form of entertainment.

I have FTB DireWolf 1.4.6 mod pack and decided to add in EE3 and i try to craft a ELF turtle thingy (any of them) i get this bugger and it crashes my game, Dam huh?

Its a nice way to keep the Franchise going. Like Thuamcraft has done. (1,2,3) and many other mod makers.
Its Just to show the progress of the mods, as time passes.
Plus, Equivalent Exchange is a known name, so with a name so famous, you don't have to go and remember the custom name made for tier 3 ee.

i have forge 477, and optifine ultra a2,+ 103 mods...its not gregtech i have tried without it.
Just think about it, EE2 was fun and all the tools were awesome. Yeah, they were OP but, who cares? Isn't the point of a mod to be fun? And at difficult-to-understand stuff, think about it again. MINION STONE, that's the problem. In good ol' EE2 the only stuff you had to get to craft a Philosopher's Stone was a diamond, redstone and some glowstone. And now, in EE3 you have to murder A LOT of mobs to get these "Knowledge Fragments" then craft an inert stone and uhh.. IDK.Now that's a lot of work right? Yes. And I'm not a lazy cheater, i like to play with my friends and get stuff to then blast away with all the Red Matter stuff. And I'm not talking to you, I'm just making a comment, now, shut up and let me alone.

1. Pahimar and the rest of the community who wants to see this mod thrive care.
2. It's not even close to complicated. I would even say it's easier and cheaper.
3. You may not be, but you sure make it sound like that. Also, on the internet, telling someone to shut up and leave you alone usually doesn't work.
Sever Admins, one of the main reasons Pahimar, IN THIS VERY THREAD cited as one of the reasons he's making such massive changes to the mod's core identity, so that more people will actually use most of it rather than shut off most of it to keep their servers from being a glorified chat room bolted on to the single player creative mode.
Three steps is a lot of work?
Go download TMI/NEI, it's more your type of mod.
