I'm just a wanderer.....
So meanwhile, what else new is getting revamped and cooked up?
and will the weaves still be dyeable? If it's too fiddly I wouldn't mind, I just always enjoy dying mine purple. make it personalized and such.

Darkmega's Latest Modpack for 1.12.2. Timeless Technician! Tech centered, Semi-hardcore, Combat oriented.
I guess Tech.... any armor can be used for either weave... since its the design I am gearing towards not the colors..
I could just use the S1 and S2 as the Armors for soul/blood.....
But anyways current tallies are: (Added a few offline friends to the poll)
S1: 5
S2: 3
S3: 1
B1: 4
B2: 4
They are not currently in 2.0, at least from what I've seen through creative mode and my recipe book, same with the special glass, the creator stated something along the lines of he released half the mod with the intention of letting people gather souls and blood for when he releases the rest of it.
Also, I believe harbingers do not drop vessels in 2.0 right now (I killed them for about a full day and a half with spawn eggs and a looting III sword to test, didn't get a single one, it's either not in, or needs a SERIOUS drop increase)
Thanks for helping others with their questions. Tho let me jump in on the Vessel drops from Harbingers. Vessels atm are very rare (They do drop but its like 1%).
Do I plan to increase the drop rates....? Yes I do however not until the next update. However don't except them to drop like candy, I intend for them to be rare for the sheer reason of Achieving something great when a player does acquire one. Keepers are the core of the Mod (Makes players manage their resource usage / inventory space AND makes Crucibles the official choice for soul/blood banking).
Vessels are just icing on the cake
No problem, and loving the mod by the way, I'm having way fun then I should farming animals now since I always use the scythe to kill them. Can you clarify something about the harbingers though? How do they actually spawn? I've recently started using another mod called MystCraft, and in one of my ages (basically another world with weird generation mechanics) I see harbingers spawn every single night. However, I have never seen a single one spawn in my actual world, even though I spent a few full nights soul farming in the desert.
Also, are culled souls currently working in 2.0? I went around killing enemies during a new moon but none of them dropped any.
(Harbingers leave them, but that appears to be their default soul, and nothing to do with night cycle)
Due to a lack of soul / blood related items in the Revamp atm, I took the New Moon event out. Don't worry tho, with the next update it will be added back in
As for the spawning of Harbingers. Simply they are a rare spawn during the night or in highly dark places. MystCraft dives into world generations and can cause increase/decrease of mob spawns (Which is a good feature honestly).
Once I finish up changing the Harbinger (new skills and such) i'll do my best to find a good spawning place for it. Special note: Becareful with them in villages >D they will tear the town up search for souls to reap!!
*teaser Harbinger change: They will spawn souls and do their best to consume them, what happens when too many souls are consumed.......*
BTW,I have an idea for their skill, soulsteal,if player has soul keeper in the inventory, harbinger will try to steal and empty it(with a % of maybe 5%?)
and I'm curious about what it will become if they consumed enough soul...(transform into a boss?
I'm just a wanderer.....
Which other mobs will drop culled souls? I thought the harbinger was the only added mob?
Also, that bit about the village is actually a really cool idea, I don't know how hard it would be to code, but it would be awesome if when they killed a villager (or any mob, including the player) They spawned an appropriate soul and then harvested it over a period of say 2-5 seconds (could have a creepy harvesting animation similar to the dementors from harry potter) This would also work with their spawned souls, and make them seem even more scary. I can imagine getting killed by one and in the "Game over" screen watching it slowly eat your soul...
EDIT: Also, for as far as spawning goes, I don't really know if a certain "place" (not including your planned dimension) would be the best idea for spawning.
What you COULD do though which would be quite fun is have some sort of "trap" that can be made from souls (maybe 1-5 souls = 1 bait soul?) and what it would do is you would right click and place it in the world, and it would appear like the normal soul entities, but it would "lure" harbingers to it. (and if you didn't attack them quick enough it would eat it and gain what ever affects you have planned for it eating that number of souls)
This also opens the possibility of "trap" souls, which would be a bait soul combined with a potion that would affect the harbinger once consumed and have stronger affects (Potion of healing II would do like 10-15 hearts of damage for example)
There is other things you can use them for, such as fuel for talismans, and you can drink them for buffs (though souls can sometimes give you negative affects)
Nail on the head. Harbingers are already coded for village pillaging.
As for "trap souls", I wanted to create an Item that you could throw and lure mobs towards it. I can create such an Item that will work on custom mobs however I can still looking into ways to make vanilla mobs get lured. The Item I had in mind was created from crafting rotten flesh together (Which when used in the Blood Altar it would turn into Biomass).
@ chezzjoe
I do plan on adding other devices into the game much like the Spectral Phase Generator. One such device is the Sacifical Altar that allows the player to place an Monster Egg or Blood into the slot, and receive various effects.
Effects such as: Exp Gain, Time Change, Weather Change, and maybe random mob spawns?
@ Void
The souls they spawn on death are the new Culled Souls (Worth 10), as for "spawning" souls is what happens when they kill a target. Much like how the Reap attack of a Scythe creates a soul, Harbingers will do the same. At which point harbingers will turn their focus to the new Soul and attempt to claim it for themselves.
Quick question, how do you get wrathful souls? There are 'boss' monsters the the twilight dimension, would harvesting from them allure a wrathful soul?
If you would like to do me a favor.... You could track down a boss and kill in int creative mod using a Scythe or a weapon with Rank 3 Soulsteal. Let me know if the Wrathful soul indeed drops.

Option 1:
Option 2:
Seems Option 1 is pulling the Robes look off pretty well, however the necklace and shoulders will be recolored to more of a Soul color.
As for option 2: seems to be more adventure looking....
Either way they both look better then the old Looks..... lol
Are you going to make the two options available in the in the mod by adding a configuration in the config file that allows you to choose which one you want? Anyway the two options are way better than the old versions. Did you make them both yourself?
Forever protecting Hyrule with the power of the Master Sword, DragonMaster16.
