(Sorry for the fairly long post)
I've been loving playing this on Voids Wrath, but I noticed a few things...
The Ancient Entity very rarely attacks.
Sometimes, mobs won't chase after you, but still attack if you come close enough (noticed this mostly with Tomo's)
Also, is it a bug that Dravite Cadillions are spawning in Azurite? If not, why not have an Azurite Cadillion?
And I feel that Dravite, Azurite, and Uvite are a little too easy once you have Full enchanted Rupee and Arlemite. Melee mobs are barely any problem, unless I'm getting ganged up on. And in Dravite, with full Enchanted Arlemite, you have protection from most mobs, except Angry Bunnies.
But I loved Mythril, terrain generation is such a step-up from the repetitive generation of the first 3 dimensions, and I found much more of a challenge. So much of a challenge, in fact, I resorted to finding ores instead of fighting mobs, which is my usual way of farming fragments.
Oh, and just a tip for anyone that's having troubles getting to the next dimension (only good if you have a Fortune pick, Rupee Tier or higher, and full Dravite Armour). Dravite Armour and a fortune Pick are a great combo, you can get around half a stack from a medium sized vein.
Does anyone have any tips for anything else I should do? I just got my Augite Portal (haven't gone through it yet) and I also have an Arcana Portal. I have full Mythril armour (which doesn't seem to give me a jump boost) Mythril Blade, multiple Frossivences, and a Uvite Phaser.
I'm also helping out patching these holes with the proper semi-updated 1.5 source that the old devs had before we quit, having me helping out a bit more constructively will probably speed this update up a bit.

Honestly, I installed the mod for 1.4.7 tonight, and in one cave I got 32 diamonds, 0 arlemite, 3 Rupee which I only got from killing The Eye, 10 realmite, 40 gold, 64+ iron. I think the ores in the overworld need to become more common, I realize if it were really common it would be OP because you can make armor and things from it. If I cannot find 1 rupee or arlemite ore at Y=11 and 32 diamonds, they need to be more common in the 1.6.2 update.
And another thing the Scorching Sword, why would it be removed? It's a fast way to take out the ender dragon, and if the sword will be removed, will there be a replacment? And honestly, I don't see it being unfitting or pointless. It's a good sword to get from the nether and honestly once it got updated I was planning on making one before going to the end to kill the ender dragon. And honestly, they are beginner items, so what swords are we supposed to get before we battle bosses? And I know the items are going to become weaker because mobs will have lower health in the update, however maybe instead of the scorching sword doing 26 damage, like maybe 13?

The Nethergenic Weapons are replacement for the Scorching Sword.

I didn't have very many problems when it came to Rupee and Arlemite. One method I used was mining out a 16x16x16 cube, from Bedrock to Y=16. Strip Mining works, too, if you're a bit more patient.
If you get a good sword, try killing some Eyes for the Rupee. If you need Realmite, Cave Crawlers drop them. Not sure if anything drops Arlemite, though.
Also, they're making the mod easier? I, for one, think they should make the mod a little bit harder, especially in the earlier dimensions (excluding Iceika. Now THAT was fun).

I can't confirm that it will be removed or that it will be in the newest version of the mod when it becomes released.
I can just say that at the current time we do NOT care about balancing, first stuff must work as it should and then we can start to tweak items
To me the sword you mention sounds fun, so I'd assume it's better to tweak it's stats than to remove it completely

There's a 1.4.7 download link in the first post, just click the mirror button
Oh xD
Seems like he's not a very good leader :P.

WHAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Ah you are back again, could you take a look at the current src on git and evaluate it?
I'd like to know what your thoughts.
Also, the active coders are reduced to one (me) and your only comment is to remark your suprise over holo giving some help? :/

If you could not connect with Skype, why didn't you post or do a PM on the MCF?
I use the PM feature a lot to sync up with various people on the MCF.

Wait just a damn minute...
Holo is back?!
No I'm just answering questions about the old source if asked by the devs. I'm not actually doing any work on DRPG myself.
