Then you may just have to deal with it. Make a cyclops sniping tower or something
yeah, Cyclops werent even the problem, my house is in a snow biome... it's just that it takes too long to kill the mobs, even with a sharpness 3 rupee sword.and since i cant break anything in other dimensions, this is about the best weapon I can get. thats why i didnt want the mod's mobs.

We plan to release it this weekend without a doubt.
Weekend is almost over.
I would of expected the "Top priority" guide and documentation to be finished by now.
The mod is fantastic, but I feel that there's been some unprofessional behavior from the mod creators, especially when responding to those wondering where the update is. The updates are coming fast enough, but with the way it was hyped up, I would of expected it to be out by now.
I'm looking forward to seeing this mod grow and evolve, and get even better than it is now, but the creators could improve their PR skills a little bit.

Expecting professionalism from someone who are working on a game they don't own, and for free, is silly - yet it is becoming frigthfully common. It is not a profession if you can't make a life of it. Career, payment, employment... None of those comes from modding a game, so they don't need to be professional. It would be useless.
Sure, they have a very cold way to reply or post, but not only that can happen for a number of reasons - like not having english as native language, or posting from cellphones - but they are working on something for free. It is hard to request a person to be professional if this is not its job, he/she won't get paid for doing it, and neither their bills and food expenses will be solved with that. They can easily stop doing it if they fill that is not worth the troubles and complains they have to endure. When you do something for fun, all you don't want is pressure over how or what your work.
There are a lot of people who have greater social traits or charisma, but that counts little when it comes to the work. The mod is promissing, and lots of other mods have looked much worse in the beggining and now are astounishing - like Thaumcraft, for example.
1.4 is here, and most probably they are inside the update, even if they said the priority was the wiki. It is better this way - backtracking this topic is not hard or unpleasant for those who are lost, while the guide doesn't come out, but modders who are addicted and compromised in working on the code is much better for everyone. Let us leave those guys work, as quietly as they are, and see how this goes.
I was planning on keeping the vanilla mobs, and the mod's blocks only

Exactly how I feel

Also, I fully support:
You don't pay for this mod, does it really matter if they are professional or not? As long as we enjoy the mod it is all good.
Everyone reading this thread is most likely waiting too, just be patient.
Happy Haunting.
Mhmm I'm so clairvoyant.
I haven't been really keeping up with this new version's updates. Will 1.1.5 be 1.3 or 1.4?
