I can completely understand that. On another note, if you have Thaumcraft installed, you at least can make a hot spring of purifying liquid, if that helps any.
I've never used Thaumcraft, actually, but I don't think it does the healing and nourishing effects, does it?
In a way it does. Instead of physical healing, it's a mental one as some of the research you do can make you mad. Combine that with a Ritual of Regeneration from Blood Magic and you have a decent setup (note: I may have done this sort of thing in single player)
When ever I try to update biomes o plenty past version, BiomesOPlenty-1.7.10-2.1.0.992-universal, I use to get the server just stopped now I am getting a crash report:

so, the original post said "To use the mod on a server, you must set the level-type setting in your server's config file to BIOMESOP" Would this be the line in my server properties textfile that reads "generator settings" ? because my server's config file simply has a couple forge files (yes I am new to modding cut me a break :P)
In the main folder there will be a text file called "server" open that up and look for the line of text that say, "level-type= put in BIOMESOP after the equals sign.
I know this is for an older version, since I'm running on Feed the Beast (Magic World 2 precisely) but, I don't seem to be having any kelp forests or coral reefs generating with 1.6.4. I've tried switching the "Enhance Vanilla Biomes" option between true and false (by default true) and tried enabling and disabling both the BoP and vanilla ocean biomes, and the different combinations of all that as well, and alternating between the BoP worldtype and Default with BoP biomes added, but still they don't seem to be turning up.
I've seen other people having this problem through searches, but not seen any solutions in response to those, so I'm befuddled.
Alough you need to open up, unzip, the file from fearielight and drag the textures into biomes o plenty to get the textures as the it is not a resource pack, but a re-texturing of the icons for biomes o plenty.
If you need help ask and I'll try and help you!
