There isn't enough room on terrain.png for ModLoader to override with mod textures from my mod, and whatever other mods you have installed.
Can you make a tutorial on how you go about making the biomes. The method that you go through in editing the BiomeGenBase and making the new BiomeGen*name* as i get the majority of the code however i keep getting an error in the GenBase about configuring... i don't know.. ( i am a new to this some what) if you could make a quick tutorial it would much appreciated >.<
But yes biomes are awesome that you have added, but i wanna experiment making my own.
8 new biomes! Check out the list under Biomes in the opening post for more info!
4 new block! Check out the list under Blocks in the opening post for more info!
Tweaks to existing biomes.
No longer requires ModLoaderMP, however, the server mod has been removed for multiple reasons. I'm looking into making a Bukkit plugin for the mod, so stay tuned for that!
Will new added biomes will appear in already existing biome o plenty game if I overwrite minecraft jar with new biome o plenty?
So your goal is to blast past ELBiomes? Because at the rate you are adding biomes, you will do just that very soon. Just a suggestion biome, can you try and add in a few more extreme hills style biomes? Some of the greatest MC land formations come from the mountains it produces.

I was already at that point when I released the mod with 30 biomes. ExtraBiomes XL only has 28 biomes. But, ScottKillen and are really aren't competing. His mod focuses on compatibility with other mods, for the most part, where mine focuses on just giving the player a better world to explore than vanilla Minecraft.
My mod was originally going to be for my own personal use, because I knew people were going to beg for a Forge version, ask for compatibility with other mods, etc., when I never planned on doing any of that. I just wanted a fun little mod to make Minecraft worlds worth exploring.
Also, to the people asking if this replaces vanilla biomes, no, it doesn't. You'll still find jungles, deserts, forests, etc.
I am still getting this error. With no texture pack installed, and a fresh .jar.. And installing it directly into the bin

Eventually. I'm waiting until I add the 6 remaining biomes I have planned (For a total of 50) before starting on a Bukkit plugin for it.
Okies. So.. probably not for a while.

Finally a mod that adds biomes, which I like and doesn't need Forge!
Thank you very much
