Finally came up with a suggestion for a biome =P.
The absolute first, and elemental draw this plugin, or terrain altering plugins is simple design changes in the terrain. Some of them seem obvious such as dedicated beaches, and great forests. Simply put, often it is the trees to me. Large trees, but with a great, simple design. Most common probably the great pines? that are huge and a beautiful backdrop to any minecraft home heh. So in that spirit, I'd like to see more simple, elemental changes. I suggest a different kind of tree. One that is maybe twice as big, tops, as your average vanilla minecraft tree, but where the leaves form almost a perfect sphere. This could be expanded into a biome, sure why not haha.
It could be a fruit tree biome. I like the apple trees in concept, and did think the trees could be more striking. Maybe there could be other types of fruits. Expanding the idea further, maybe it could be an orchard. There could be bushes in simple patterns, but patterns nonetheless, to give it a garden sort of feel. The bushes too could maybe carry fruits, berries anyone? If willing to add a lot more items, there are a lot of things one could add to the feel of an orchard. It'd be lush and beautiful. Yeah, I'm a sucker for a simple green area, with lots of added colors, without it being too crowded.
One thing I would be interested in seeing would be the introduction of underground biomes. I do not know how feasible this would be, but underground rivers, oceans, and massive caves with photoluminescent flora and fauna would be a very unique addition to this mod. The larger caverns might even contain subterranean villages, with some form of unique twist that fits the tone of the biome. Oceans would simply be large bodies of water under the surface. The larger oness might even contain islands in them. I envision them to resemble gollum's cave, if you have seen The Hobbit. Rivers would be exactly the same as the ones above ground, but be able to generate in a three dimensional form, with turns not only left and right, but on a vertical axis as well. Again, I do not know how feasible this is, and I realize that some of these may be difficult to accomplish, but this would be a feature that no other mod, to my knowledge, currently possesses.
you should definitely have a mob biome where each tree in the biome is related to a specific mobs and mobs have a chance of spawning near those tree olso when you smelt the logs you get the mob drop of the mob the tree represents
I don't plan on doing any underground content. Check out Underground Biomes and WildCaves 3 if you want more stuff related to cave generation and whatnot.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast, I'll look into wild caves 3. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the work you put into this mod, it is definitely one of my favorite ones out there.
Biome: Tall Grass Biome. Basically a biome with giant tall grass, which drop seeds. Basically a Mushroom Island/Garden Biome, but with Tall Grass.
Block: Red Rock Bricks. Basically Red Rock-colored Stone Bricks.
Item: Radiated Flesh. Dropped by Mutants. When you eat it, no hunger is restored, and you get a random potion effect!
EDIT: I realized there is already Red Rock Bricks, so how about Spore Wood/Planks/Slabs/Stairs. It will be purple.
Actually, forget this idea. I'd like an "Overgrown Swamp" biome. It is a green swamp, with Willow and Mangrove trees, patches of mud, and clay veins underground instead of Gravel. It would also have Moss, which spawns in the same shape and size as Snow layers, but in small patches. When you break it with a shovel, you get a Moss item. The Moss item can craft Mossy Cobblestone and Stone Bricks. Maybe also a giant mushroom or two?
For the block, it would be Moss (explained above). It would spawn in the Bog and Woodlands.
For the item, it would probably be Moss (again). This time, with a crafting recipe: 4 Vines in a 2x2 square.
EDIT: I changed my item idea. See this post for more information.

It's a problem with Optifine. It's because it doesn't specify to use terrain.png for the snow texture, and instead uses whatever sprite sheet the plant it's covering uses. So the tile slot for snow in terrain.png is the same for orange leaves in the mod's block.png
i want to ask, because me and my frinds are trying to make a perfect minecraft world, are oasis whole biomes on their own or are they mini-biomes that spawn inside of vanila deserts? would be grat if they where the later because then they wouldnt make special structures rarer (since mods only make their structures on vanilla).
please reply, thanks ^^
another idea, and i know you havent done anything like this, but if you could add speccial structures on your mod that appear either on specific biomes or on all the biomes you added to make them cooler and add a chalenge factor to those biomes, because when you are using mods that generate cool structures, having your biomes reduces the chance of finding those structures (as those structures dont generate on your biomes) and people get demotivated to use your biomes because of that.
so if you had your own awesome structures (they can be made to mach the theme of the biomes XD) it would be awesome
I found a bug with the mod. The Fir trees (and maybe some others, too) don't catch fire from lava or other items such as flint+steel and fire charge.. I learned about this at the edge of a Volcano Biome. The nearby jungle was burning down from lava flowing down from the volcano, but the Boreal Forest (I'm pretty sure it was that) wasn't burning down. Not reporting this because I griefed, but because it's odd seeing trees having lava flowing around them and not burning down.

Oh, oh. No more buttered scones for me, mater. I'm off to play the grand piano. Pardon me while I fly my aeroplane.
Hello TDWP_FTW, I just wanted to ask if i could use your mod in a mod pack that i am making, by the way this mod has some ID clashes with the "Better Farming" mod but it is an easy fix. Ok, since people still don't understand that I don't want the mod in modpacks, even though it says at the top of the opening post to read the FAQ before posting or PMing me, which states that I will not allow the mod in mod packs, I am just going to stop responding to any posts or PMs about it.
Hell on earth biome. A netherrack biome with occasional fires set on it. you know, so its actually traversable.
Add this please!
I've already mentioned before that I don't want to do a Nether biome in the overworld. I don't want to have Nether-exclusive materials obtainable in the overworld. Same with The End.
I try to read all posts, but I don't reply to all of them. If you want to suggest other biomes, you can, but I can only count one as an entry for the contest.
Alright. Also, I figured I'd should mention to everyone that I WON'T be including ideas in the voting that I myself don't like (There are only a few so far that I don't like at all, so it's not like there'll only be a few choices). Even if one that doesn't fit would've won, I wouldn't add it. It'll just make things a lot easier in the long run.
I just installed this mod today, and I've found that the various saplings and plants the mod adds can't be used as fuel in furnaces. Is this a known issue or is it just me?

I go by AquaBuzzardHR on my YouTube Channel. Link here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyrxj072mhHlrhiv6RoZcWw
It is a channel about building and being creative, currently playing on the Lake Laogai SMP.
Thanks!

I guess. You'll have to wait a while for the next update to fix it, however. Just disable the option in OptiFine for now.
Add this please!
