I have found a possible bug with BiomesOPlenty-1.7.10-2.1.0.2027-universal, when using a steel lumber axe from tinkers construct to destroy the entire "trunk" of the bamboo plant, the leaves do not seem to decay yet there are no bamboo pieces left in place near the leaves.
now this is in my modpack so i'm not too sure if it's a conflict with another mod or not but I do remember it used to let the leaves decay before.
in case anyone asks and misses the version number, my modpack is 1.7.10 so that's the version.
[EDIT]OK, the leaves have a tendency to decay at an extremely slow rate at first, not sure why though.
I'm trying to pick up Hot Spring Water. But it reverts back to ordinary water? I thought, since Amethyst buckets no longer exist, Spring Water can be picked up safely with ordinary buckets?... Or is there a new way to do this? If there is, I find 0 info about this on Google, since all Wikis are outdated.

If there is no "bucket of hot spring water" item defined (check NEI or JEI, depending on which Minecraft version you're playing), that probably won't work. I imagine you'll need a fluid container that works with the Forge fluid registry to hold any defined fluid, such as Universal Fluid Cells from Industrial Craft 2. (there are probably items from other mods that will also work, but I'm less familiar with them)
JEI says there is a Hot Spring Water Bucket, but there is no recipe for it. Really dont know how I'm supposed to pick it up .w. was checking for other devices but couldnt find anything in vanilla minecraft or biomes o plenty itself. I dont have other mods that can pick up liquids and I dont intend on getting some.

The lack of recipe doesn't mean much - without a mod providing a fluid canner machine, bottler, or something along those lines, you probably won't get recipes for the vanilla water bucket or lava bucket either.
However, I searched the GitHub source, and apparently it's hard-coded to return a regular water bucket (when using an empty bucket to pick up hot spring water) since 1.8.9. Before that, presumably back to a version with amethyst buckets, it looks like hot spring water might not be defined in those versions, and even if it is defined, using a bucket on hot spring water would have no effect.
Hello. Ive heard a rumor that the nether wasp/bees are no more. is that correct? (looking to install 1.10.2 version, but literally only for the nether bees/wasps)

For the time being, I'm pretty sure you won't find wasps or bees (at least from this mod) in the Nether in the 1.10.2 version, because the Nether biomes have yet to be re-added. See https://github.com/Glitchfiend/BiomesOPlenty/issues/606
It remains to be seen whether they'll be there if/when the Nether biomes get re-added.

In BoP 1.7.10 is there a way to get Limestone, Siltstone, and Shale to spawn i really like the looks of these and would love to get them to spawn in a survival world.
Just going to double-post since it's a completely unrelated topic:
You could probably use CoFHCore's/Thermal Dynamics' amazing oregen settings to make this dream a reality.
I've tried many many secenarios and I'm nearly sure that it's the Hunger Overhaul mod.
I don't know it it makes sense but this mod changes the drops of grass. Could that be the reason?
I've played around using just the Apple Core mod without Hunger Overhaul, same spawn point, moving exactly through the same chunks - all was fine.
After that I've enabled Hunger Overhaul and - Crash. Ever and ever again in the same chunk.
I just want to make sure that it's this mod (Hunger Overhaul is in an early stage for 1.10.2).
Ticket is created. I'm going to report back if it could be solved and if it's Hunger Overhaul related.
Thanks for responding and taking time in so many threads @Robijnvogel.
Is this compatible with Harvestcraft? You have probably answered this many times, but I don't know where to look for this information.
Yes.

Tested it out and the spawn eggs are atleast there. thats all i need. i can make my army of bees with Custom npcs ^0^
And another one after disabling grass and soil:
Does this occur on 1.11.2? If so, i'm sure they would love to fix in if you make a bug report on the BoP github

I was right - it was a known issue in Hunger Overhaul. Fixed in the latest version.
Why were so many of the good biomes removed? I was hoping to make my house in a hot spring but its not there anymore.
if your running the 1.7.10 version they aren't in there, if it's one of the latest versions that's NOT 1.7.10 then I believe they are there.
