Just curious. Have you tried schematica with the 1.9 snapshot? Does everything still work. Will there need to be a big revamp like there was when they changed things in 1.8?

No idea, I just keep up with Forge. Maintaining and additional "vanilla" version of the mod would be an annoying thing to do.
Just wondering, I have a schematic of a build with command blocks, but when I do the printer function, It doesn't place in the commands (obviously). Is there a way to to this with Schematica?

at the moment no but he is looking into adding that in a later version i think.

It just looks really glitchy instead. Another instance is when I destroy red blocks, they used to turn into the block that needed placed, now they just stay red and empty. Same with pink blocks.

Because I know that whatever date I say, I most likely won't be able to do it until then. And when that happens people start bugging me even more. I'm just on a tight schedule and I have to give other things a higher priority.

The overlay refresh runs on every world load (dimensions change), which is why I asked. If it doesn't work even after changing dimensions where might be something else going on.

Newer versions of Schematica and Lunitruscore are crashing my modpack when I try to use printer, so I am still using the following.
LunatriusCore-1.7.10-1.1.2.11-universal
Schematica-1.7.10-1.7.2.96-universal.jar
These just work for me so for now I am sticking with them.
My question is concerning swapslot, new version seem to have a different syntax as to how you choose slots...for my version how do I make slots available for printer to swap out blocks from inventory? Thanks....

It should open the directory where the schematics are stored. If it doesn't, manually locate the folder (it's .minecraft/schematics, similar to .minecraft/mods).

Actually I wasn't asking about crash rather how to put proper syntax for the swap slots....for this older version.
I finally used the mod conig gui and got that sorted out however I have a new problem.
It keeps placing stones then destroying them then placing them........:P
Also the Swap slots are not really working for me, as they keep trying to place the wrong items. I am guessing because of the large number of mods item ID's are changed maybe?
It's confusing as if I have correct block in my tool bar it knows to place them, but then it sometimes destroys the right blocks in error or tries to grab the wrong block for swap slots........

The old swap blocks was just an array of indexes of 0 ~> 8 (matching the hotbar slots). Given that it's a really old version... no idea. I keep track of the last ~5 releases or so, anything before that can be considered an unsupported version. Most of the releases are fixes for things that didn't work correctly with new features in-between.
in the future, will there ever be plans to develop a plugin for servers to use to disable this mod? I own a build server with my team and things constantly get stolen with this mod. We already use the world downloader plugin that disables that mod and we were just wondering if you'd be able to do the same in the future? I know that many servers would love to have this plugin since stealing is a big thing in the community. We wish to showcase our work without having to worry that people can steal it all away in a few clicks.

I am using the Utopia³ modpack and it is no longer being updated and I don't think it has been since last summer, but I haven't had time to try and update it myself it uses forge-1.7.10-10.13.0.1208-universal. As they are no longer updated it I may take it on myself, but just haven't felt like that yet..
This may be why I am having other issues as well.....it often deletes a block like stone as wrong block when I have it set to destroy block only to replace it with the same stone block and destroy it again, not sure what is going on in NEI there is only one stone. More confusing is sometimes it likes teh stone blocks I place......and sometimes it has brownish highlight and destroys I don't know why.

Minecraft isn't a game where things are "copyrighted" or belong to you.
As soon as it's on the internet, it's free to use.
Unless you display them on the web somehow and make a .schematic file viewer for javascript, you should learn to accept that you can't stop piracy.

Can already be done via SBC, a list of all the codes is on the wiki (you'll need a SBC plugin).

The VBO setting is in the vanilla options.

Those were and will be "disabled" because there is no way to place them without using a command.
I have it partially implemented, but needs some more things to be done. In the meanwhile I'd suggest mirroring the schematic using mcedit.

Also, the crash on the latest version might be caused by a SEVERELY outdated Forge version, as is the case with this crash log: http://openeye.openmods.info/crashes/fec74e65c2e290cec30e396c4cd9820f (that feature was added in November 2014).
