Hey Lunatrius, I am having issues moving schems from world to world and world to server there is no error code, it's just when I select the schem and click Done, nothing happens. I am also getting frustrated over why I can't seem to get this schem to work.

Both schematics load just fine on my end using the Schematica #18. Try to install forge 1.4.5-6.4.0.394 if that works. Other than that I'm unable to help you this week, because I have a busy schedule.

Umm...
I already install forge 14.5-6.4.0.397,
the schematic doesn't work for me.
Btw,
Do your own stuff first,
I can wait until you finish it
Hello, just to report some oddities between Schematica and the Thaumcraft 3 mod, it seems while running TC schematics sometimes appear completely black as shown in this shot
From the point I'm standing in, angling my view a few degrees upwards causes the schematic to appear correctly:
In addition to this, wearing the Goggles of revealing from the TC mod causes schematics to appear as such:
This isn't so much a problem as removing the goggles will make the schematic appear correctly.
I'm 99.8% certain the problem is between these 2 mods in particular as I've tried removing everything except Forge, Schematica and Thaumcraft and was able to reproduce the visual glitch, removing TC and testing with Schematica alone I was no longer able to reproduce it. The version of Forge I'm using is 6.4.1.409, with the newest version of Schematica posted in the OP and TC version 3.0.0.0d.

Does any of that area contain a mob spawner? Or any kind of tile entity that might have a block with an entity rendered? If you could post s screen shot of non-vanilla blocks in that schematic that would most probably be enough.
Changing the root element worked brilliantly, thank you so much.
I also have a glitch/bug to report. If you go out of range from the loaded schematic the bluecolored phantom blocks does not disappear when a normal block is placed upon it. The only way to fix this then is to close down minecraft, boot it up again and load the schematic.
Also; How complicated would it be to add a line that allows the mod to save the content of chests? Is it something that you could consider if it's not too much trouble?
If not, is schematica open source? Could i grab the code and change it myself? for personal use ofc.
That happens sometimes (to be more exact, when a lost of Minecraft renderers have to update - spinning with the avatar quickly etc). Usually those should be updated if you're standing close to the block you're placing. I'll most probably try to make a PR for Forge, to add some kind of flag if a specific chunk was modified or even an event. Still have to think about it.
And yes, Schematica is open source. The link to the sources is in the first post, just above the downloads.
Got another thing to report now. This is something that has never happened before. When I load a schematic (it doesn't seem to matter how big it is) sometimes it just freezes, and I have to end the javaw process to close down minecraft. This happens more and more frequently, and now it happens like every 3rd minute or even more often.
It really renders the mod useless since I can't play at all.
I haven't changed anything in anywhere, it just suddenly happened out of the blue.
If you want crash reports or anything that would help you out you need to tell me exactly how and what to do

I'm not 100% sure if there are any mob spawners in the area I was working on pictured in the screenshots, but I just tested on a 3 block high superflat world where it would be impossible for a mob spawner to spawn and it's also happening there. If you meant if the schematic contained mob spawners that's also a negatory, I've opened the schematic in MCEdit and used the materials list button that comes with Schematica to check for them. Both the schematic and the superflat world are also devoid of any non vanilla blocks.
An additional thing I've noticed is that the schematic is only a solid black color when I'm getting less than 60 fps, when framerate rises above that, the schematic rapidly flickers between the correct view and the black one.
Mind you this definitely only happens while Thaumcraft is running, if I disable TC then Schematica works perfectly fine so it might just be the TC mod doing something to the way blocks are rendered that interferes with Schematica.

That's definitely weird. I've just tried to install TC and the latest Forge build and it worked fine. I've loaded the cathedral schematic and it looked fine (that schematic isn't that large compared to my testing schematics that range up to 200x200x100, for performance testing). I doubt that it's actually TC that's "incompatible," it's most likely some other mod in your installation. If you can hand me a list of all installed mods I might be able to find the issue.

Basically just NotEnoughItems and its required library, which can also be found in the same post.
Thanks very much for your time by the way, I love the work you've done with Minecraft!
If it's not too much asked, could you send me a zip file with the coremods/mods folders in it? If you can, send me that via a PM. If you can't it's no problem, I'll just grab the stuff from the provided links.
Uhm yeeeaah....I dunno what that is....I tried searching for "log" and "FML" in the .minecraft directory and all I found was ForgeModLoader-client-0.log.lck
._.
The file you're looking for should be ForgeModLoader-client-0.log.
Found one with a bunch of logged actions in it. Every single line is marked with [FINE] [FINER] or [FINEST] except 1 warning and 1 info
2012-12-05 14:42:11 [WARNING] [ForgeModLoader] Mod Schematica is missing the required element 'version' and a version.properties file could not be found. Falling back to metadata version 1.3.3.18
2012-12-05 14:42:11 [INFO] [ForgeModLoader] Forge Mod Loader has identified 4 mods to load
I also have a bug to report. The .schematic files you are making are not the same as the .schematic files understood by programs like MCEdit. Weird things happen when you import .schematic files created with Schematica via MCEdit, and I don't just mean that the root needs to be changed. Here's oddities I have witnessed so far:
Most wool becomes dark grey wool
All tall-grass blocks (shrubs, etc) become magenta wool
Sandstone becomes grey wool
Pistons become black wool
Glowstone becomes cobblestone (I think, I will double-verify later)
The projections shown by Schematica display the correct blocks (even after you modify the root NBT tag) but MCEdit shows these oddities and imports them as such.
For reference, I have the latest versions of everything and no other mods, etc etc. I have also tested this with a dozen different builds and sources from various environments (single player, smp from servers, creative) and they all mirror these results.
Oh, as one other quick note, Schematica doesn't save anything not currently loaded by your game window. So even though .schematic files can be ultima-mega-huge, you're limited to both your render distance and to what you currently have rendered when you save the file.
Added Italian (it_IT) translations (author: mrTJO).
Translation files now include the author name/nickname and version (idea by mrTJO).
The stack trace will show up in the console when the schematic fails to load.
Use the LanguageRegistry.loadLocalization() instead of manual loading of properties.
Fix MCEdit compatibility.
Fix another MCEdit incompatibility.
Bumped version number.

There's nothing I can do about that. Unless I load up the world manually, but doing so would most probably cause a lot of lag when saving the schematics (it's only unloaded chunks, chunks that were not rendered yet *will* be saved).
This requires forge, right? You can't use it with modloader or without Forge?
Exactly. It could be ported to ModLoader with some effort, but the time it would take and the incompatibilities with other mods... not worth the trouble.
The schematic is 80*877*132 in size, which would mean a little over 800MB of RAM for buffers only. I'm currently testing a build that creates a buffer and deletes it right after it uses it and the FPS doesn't seem to be affected that much during the refreshing of the schematic.
I've been using this mod for a little while and loving it, but when my girlfriend and I wanted to build something together and she couldnt see my schematic on her screen we loaded the mod on her system and had her import the schematic, figuring we would just place it in the same spot and it would work the same way. But, when she tried, it didn't show up. She could click the / button and load the schematic but when she clicked it, it didn't show up. We found that the "show/hide" button was stuck on hide and clicking it doesn't fix it.

Once I get the new version out and in case it doesn't work I'll get a debug version for you, with more detailed output.

Though this happens with most any large-ish schematic, the particular schematic I'm testing on can be found here: http://www.mcschematics.com/index.php?topic=9795.0

A shot of what's in my mods folder:
Treecapitator
Mouse Tweaks
Backpacks
ComputerCraft
Ellian's Material Detector
Infernal Mobs
InGameInfoXML, MonsterSpawnHighlighter and Schematica, you probably know where to get these 3
InvTweaks
MatMos
Pet Bats
Ellian's Proximity Detector
ThaumCraft
WeaponMod
AtomicStryker's UpdateCheckerMod comes with any of his mods if I'm not mistaken.
CCInput2
The coremods folder contains:
