Thanks so much for adding in BC liquids This mod is perfect now
Also Dont know if this is possible or not but can you add in maybe a configurable option to hide all the buckets from NEI besides the empty ones so that 3-5 of the same bucket dont show up in NEI?

My pleasure. That option sounds like a good idea as the number of buckets keeps going up.
Added a configuration option to only show the empty version of each bucket and hide the filled versions in the creative menu. It also hides them in the NEI list.
Performance improvements for flimsy bucket decay and slime timers.
Railcraft tanks can now be right clicked with buckets anywhere, not just on their valves.
Railcraft tanks now work with water and lava buckets even if buildcraft isn't installed.
Railcraft tanks work with Creosote Oil buckets if Railcraft is installed (which it probably is if you're using Railcraft tanks) and biomass/biofuel/milk buckets if Forestry is installed.
Note: If upgrading from a previous version, you may have to manually set some item IDs as the new bucket IDs are interspersed with the old ones. Or delete or rename config/diamondbuckets.cfg to get a fresh config file. Be careful and back up your save when upgrading any mod.
It would be nice (at least for atmosphere) if you had a way to drop the buckets on the ground as a place-able object. That is, a solid object with the liquid visible, instead of an icon. Granted, I'm not sure how you would do that. Crouch while right-clicking a position? Shrug.
This mod supports three major mechanical mods: Buildcraft, Forestry, Industrial-Craft and Railcraft. I'll do my best to support new versions of all three, but do let me know if something strange happens if you're playing. Besides the tin, copper, bronze, steel, and rubber buckets, which can be created if the mod for that ore is installed, the following features are supported.
As for buckets holding all liquids in Buildcraft's liquid API and having a default liquid texture for unknown ones, I could give that a shot, but I'll worry about that later.
I know its an old post but have an idea how to implement any liquid from any mod:
1. Every liquid adds a liquid in vanilla bucket
2. You can take pixels from inside of that bucket from the liquid in bucket texture
3. Use the colors of that pixels as color of liquid
4. Make a texture when loading minecraft and save it temporarly
5. Profit (tons of liquids in all buckets)

Would it be possible to make it so all the vanilla recipes that use a bucket with liquid that return the bucket can use any of the buckets from this mod?

That would be neat, but a bit outside the scope of my skills. That would be more like Diamond Cauldrons.

Coding something procedural like that would be significantly more work that just making new icons for each bucket, though once done it would work for all future liquids as well and would be really cool and elegant. I'll think about it.

I don't know of any vanilla recipes that use buckets, except as fuel in forges which I have replicated. Could you be more specific?

Thanks!
I've also reorganized the OP and added lots more information to it, as a lot of important stuff was buried in the patch notes.
Awesome Love mod developers who actually listen Can't wait

I'm sure more changes will be necessary when mods get released. Railcraft definitely changed something, for example, I'll need to take a look at that.
Er, I count 4.
Great mod though.

Let me know if I missed anything. I tried to test most machines but the mods keep getting bigger.

Thanks for pointing that out, I've fixed it.

Thanks. It's comments like this which make modding worthwhile.
