Just a simple idea, why not make some bosses add-ons for the mod, also I think it would be a good idea to make a Wither temple or something as in the Wither mob boss, since 1.4 has yet to come out, maybe give him some more attacks and powers.
Ocean Giant
Looks like a Iron Golem, only alot bigger and is colored blue.
Health: about 500 hearts
Damage 8-28 hearts
Can summon underlings called Wave Golems that are slightly weaker, when he attacks he sends you flying causing major damage without proper enchantments, he can also drop water on you to try to slow you down, try to drown you, and he can put out fires and lava, when killed, he drops an Ocean Staff, its power has 2 effects, causes a giant orb of water to form over a mob drowning them, or knocks the mob back insently killing them if they have less then 20 hearts.
Wave Golem:
Health: Roughly 80 hearts
Damage: 5-7 hearts
Spawned only in the Giant's temple and summoned by him, those drop Water buckets when killed, there knockback is not as strong as the Giant, but they can still put out fire and lava.
~Stats of the Lich~
-Attack other Liches.
-Summon the Undead and can Command Leaderless Undead.
-Move very fast due to a magical ability.
-And have magical abilities.
--Levitation: Liches will always levitate above the ground so they will never actually walk. They'll gently levitate upward as a form of a jump.
--Destruction Magic: Some sort of destruction spell; like fireball, ice spike, and storm bolt. Could also use more powerful forms of these.
--Shield: Some sort of shield for protection from melee and range attacks.
--Highly resistance to magical attacks or even immunity to it.
--Teleport: Can teleport anywhere within sight.
--Weakness: A spell that weakens the target's hunger, max health, or even armor rating...
That is all for now..
The Max Health thing would be like how high you can heal up to.. Like when you are starving to death, you can only heal up to 5/10 hearts...
This mod looks great, me and my son are looking forward to playing. Question though - I am having a hard time installing. Here is what I've done - please can someone review and let me know what is wrong (as the result is a crashed program w/error reports).
1. I created a clean copy of minecraft
2. I opened the jar, removed META-INF, and renamed the jar folder as "minecraft.jar"
3. I copied the "minecraftforge-universal-4" files into the minecraft.jar folder
4. I created a new "mod" folder at the root (eg, "minecraft") level (same level as bin)
5. I placed the "Forge_LegendaryBeastsAlpha1" folder into the new mod folder
6. I open up minecraft, and it crashes
I have also tried the above along with putting the "forge" folder into the minecraft.jar folder, same result.
What am I doing wrong? Do I also need modloader or another file? Putting the files into the wrong places? Any help appreciated, thanks!
That would be a bug, if it actually happened. Most likely you just found another temple though and thought it was one that you had previously been to. Are you sure? Did your minecraft crash in-between you finding the temple? If so, it may have been unable to save, resulting in the temple being active.
I am sure it is the same temple as I recorded the coordinates before. Also, after I die fighting with the fire demon (the newly spawned one), i went back to that temple and found the condition of the temple had automatically turn back to the first time I beat it, and there isn't any fire demon spawning there.

Sounds pretty awesome! Now, I need to design its temple. That would take awhile - it would be awesome if you could build it in minecraft and then send the world file to me.

Simple error here! It needs to go into the "mods" folder, not the "mod" folder.
looks good but the health bar for the bosses is stolen from the official Aether mod
The images of the bosses are old. The new health bar can be seen in the Elf Hunter screenshot. Anyways, the health bars were just rounded rectangles created with Gimp.

Hmm, it sounds like it didn't save for some reason. Let me know if this happens again!
Build a temple for the Lich? Sure! I love building dungeons, which it should be. But remember, I will make it so it is base to be underground and I'll make a few of them! Problem is I prefer to build stuff on a flat world so going underground might be hard if I required it be.. Well.. Big and deep. I'll see what I can do.
Also, I do have an idea.. How about adding in a Arrow Dispenser Block that has infinity arrows and can never run out AND cannot be accessed? (I have a mod that does this and would love to use these for traps)
Here is a dungeon I made awhile ago as mainly tests. ( http://www.mediafire.com/?29fpedrk2coi2w5 ). There will be a few problems with it though.. So you might wanna check it out in Creative mode first.
I took a bit of my free time to make a boss temple for this awesome mod.
You can use it for any kind of boss you want, just what you think fits best!
It does have some spawners in it which you will have to change to whatever you want since they are only pig spawners.
Maybe you should make the temple of the lich from (moss)cobblestone or stonebrick (It sounds like an stronghold I know but who cares) and cobwebs to let it look old. You need to make it like an ancient... thing, maybe ruins or something, With stateus that spring to life when you come close! With redstone traps and such. You should make the Lich the last and strongest boss because it souns awesome! You need to go trough annoying and hard big hallways andpull some switches with items you obtain from the other bosses that opens a giant door where the mighty Lich stands...floots...whatever. (and of course some doors you can open from one side as shortcuts so you don't need to do the whole dungeon all over if you die) And when you kill it you get an item as proof that you killed the mighty Lich and that you will become famous!
Good luck with the Lich.

Thanks! But I downloaded it and see that it requires a mod. Do you have a version that runs in vanilla minecraft?

Suggestions:
Red Dragon (Spawns in the Nether/Hell Biome?)
Zombie Overlord (Spawns in Caves styled similarly to dungeons and strongholds? Recolored large zombie with a cape and crown? Drops )
HEROBRINE (Spawns in a creepy temple house with some dedication to him near it, like a tomb stone, and can build/destroy blocks?)
Skeleton King (Spawns in a temple made of soul sand with heads on it? Wears a cape and crown and slightly larger than a regular skeleton? Wither effect? Greyish color? Wields iron sword and bow? Drops bow/sword with wither effect)
The map still works without the mod. It'll just be missing some blocks, that is all.. And it should obvious that these blocks that are missing are just dispensers. (Place some normal dispensers in the missing spots while in Creative Mode to fix it. Easy as pie.)
I also recommend not doing the Red Dragon idea above because the creators of Minecraft already have plans of adding Red Dragons into the vanilla game.

I'm not interested in adding any dragons to minecraft just yet. Maybe later.
Herobrine is an interesting boss idea - but what would he do? How would he fight?

Oh, okay. I'll load up the map then. Thanks!
And I wasn't planning on adding dragons anyway, at least not soon.

That's perfectly fine - it means that no nests have been generated yet.

What do you mean by "add-ons"?
Giants aren't fun! But Ogres are!
We'll see.

Sadly, this isn't possible. Forge never released 1.3.1 version.
Thank you! much better than the current temples!

Is the spoiler messing things up?
