Fix for issue #1, where previously changing worlds in a multiworld server broke the download and started 20 save threads.
Fix for issue #3, where reloading chunks caused TileEntities to be removed.
Fix for issue #5, where fireworks would cause the game to lag to extreme levels when they exploded.
The world no longer has a chance of becoming invisible after stopping the download.
New features
Saving the contents of map items!
If the map is in an item frame, you need to load it for it to be saved, just like a chest.
If the map is in your inventory, it'll be saved immediately.
Idcounts.dat is not saved, meaning that if you create a new map in the downloaded world, it may use the ID of an existing one. Nothing too important, but something to be aware of.
A debug options GUI, so that your chat is only spammed if you want it to be!
Some debug settings default to enabled, but all can be disabled (and all will be if "Master debug switch" is set to off).
You can also chose which types of information you want to see, so you can only see the more important GUI open/close messages without seeing the removeEntityFromWorld or onChunkNoLongerNeeded ones.
Re-implementing the "Player looks about in world" code for the multiworld select GUI.
Configuration of the "Allow cheats" setting, with it defaulting to enabled (rather than previously being disabled)
Backing up the world!
This is done after saveing is done, and a backup is created each time.
The three modes available are creating a zip of the world folder, copying the world folder entirely, and not performing any backup. The default is creating a zip.

I think that snapcraft does something weird. Try using the non-liteloader version (you'll need to manually put the include files in a 1.8 jar and remove META-INF, so it's a bit more complex, but it might be necessary for some servers).

The server is detecting WDL in the handshake , as it tests for Forge and liteloader plugins . This is a custom Spigot plugin . if a condition is met you have WDL installed . Base mods are not effected . The topic is over in the Spigot Dev. forums

Maybe because I'm clicking too fast in the hub server, the handshake doesn't get sent fast enough.

I Don't know if you did this or its a bug but i am not sure when i download a map then download a second map (the same server i remade file name before downloading) i don't see the first map in singleplayer

Minecraft is a multilingual game and WDL exists on a english site , Mods from the English site (here) may never make it to the Italian , Russian , Japanese , etc .. sites ETC .. and Vice Versa . It's not a bad thing for mods to be showcased in other languages . It's always polite to ask and to give credit .

It's on the Japanese site , people here on the English site would never find it . I guess he was contacted , he didn't respond , it's open source and someone showcased it in English . ie .. thats how I found it . So there is probably a WDL showcase in every language with a copy all over the place . In the end Julialy and Poke and everyone who worked on the mods can only hope that people in other countries work with them , to help get it into other languages forums .
Does this version work with a specific version of MC or will it work on all 1.8.x versions?
I miss the old days when it was compatible with Magic Launcher and installing it was a no-brainer. The server I play on won't let me connect with Liteloader and this installed so I need a non-liteloader version but I can't get that version to work.

It only works with MC 1.8.0. That's the only one that we have decompilation available for.
Maybe I also want to remove the backdoor from WDL, but I'm not so sure about doing that.
The reasoning behind that system is to make it so that server owners don't have to do messy sniffing, and are still able to block WDL on only some worlds. The second half being the most important part -- I can see reasoning behind blocking WDL on some worlds, but there's other worlds where it's useful (eg a creative-mode world), and the point of the system is to make it so that it's possible to do that.

This guy is redistributing illegally your mod!
There's not really much we can do about those guys.

I should think about how to spoof the client so the server detects as vanilla.
