If you can make the Nether portal look like the Nether sky...
Make that one change, and you have me hooked.
Nether portals aren't rendered the same way as the End portal. A Nether portal block is textured the same way as lava or water. It's like asking me to make a lavafall look like a window into an alternate universe. I'm afraid I can't do that.
I don't really like the Nether sky, because you just see "sky" when render distance is low. I give it a 6/10. I really don't think it is necessary, but it looks like it wasn't rushed.
SCMowns, I finally got around to watching the video, and at one point you said that the endersky texture was from a texture pack. I guess you could say that; it's from a texture pack I haven't yet finished. I was trying to get it to work in vanilla, but since it was impossible to get it right without either obvious tiling or a static effect, this mod was my solution.
Also, every mod should provide unedited base classes (if it edits any) and a readme for easy uninstallation.

If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.

Even if you can't make it perfectly look like it, perhaps change the texture to be a bit more like the nether sky?
Just modloader and TooManyItems, nothing more. I was testing mod to make a little showcast.
I have those exact mods installed and have never had a problem. It does rarely crash when going between dimensions, but it has never ruined any of my worlds like you said.

I don't think so. I'd have to make the skybox rotate, and blend it with the normal sky. Just imagine the overworld's atmosphere blocking out most of the stars.
Just the mod I was looking for. Thanks. I'm also looking forward to that infinite island generation mod. I've always loved to have an infinitely generating End (along with that gorgeous sky box).
BTW, do all 4 sides of the sky boxes use the same one texture? I'm hoping that I could place a pixel-ated Earth and Moon on the bottom part of the sky box to emphasize the idea that the End is in space.
Also the Nether with that sky box/background sort of reminds me of Doom. I might just try putting in Doom's sky box textures for the hell stages in there.
Yeah, you're right. Does this darker fog look better?

I'm sure it's a simple compatibility issue; I've never had that happen before. What mods do you have installed?

That could work. Orange Nether portals, anyone?

Anyways, this mod is fantastic. I love the new sky for the End!
It's a rendering mod. EnderSpace works on multiplayer, but only people with the mod installed can see it.
