I was wondering if you wouldn't mind making it able for players to be able to befriend like a succubus, harpy, werecat, minotaurus, or other female villain by offering a massive amount of villagers or some sort of rare gems. I think it would add just that amount of evil for players to endure for a lot of fun.

Sorry for the lack of updates on the update. It has been almost 2 weeks since my last post.
I have completely gutted the mod. I have come to the conclusion that I will likely need a fresh start then work my way up again starting with a single item and single mob then updating everything based on what I initially make.
The a majority items and mobs are likely going to be removed instead of being replaced. It is basically a step backward.
I understand this guy ;). It´s basically the same i wanted to ask only that we would have to recode a bit cause of not using forge on our modpack and that to our advantage since three years now, i got to say
No updating and fixing of mojangs newest ideas, no forge, no spigot or plugins and all the stuff you don´t want to ruin your game, which of course on the downside leads us to the point to ask you if we may adapt your modification to our system but of course still give full credit.
Truly exciting modification you did, I played the crap out of it!

Still, I have never heard of a modded server which does not use Forge. That is pretty amazing. Pardon my ignorance as I do not keep myself updated on the server scene nor do I posses a clue about it.

Wish I knew how I could. That is probably the most requested feature for this mod.
I really look forward to this being updated. It adds a real good amount of balance to survival, and makes it feel more like 'survival' again. Instead of feeling like 'diamond sword diamond armor I kill you all trololol'.
I would ask perhaps that if you are permitted to, and if it becomes too overwhelming in updating beyond 1.6.4, would it be possible for the source code to be released on github? Instead of just letting it disappear completely if that were to happen.
I really need to figure out how github works. Seems many modders use it. It would be beneficial for me as I am having a hard time updating and there is no code worth keeping in my mod, seeing how simple my mod is compared to the others :lol:.

Honestly I don't really see the benefits of updating for 1.8. Considering a stable Forge is likely months away, it seems smart to just stick with 1.7.10 (that's what Azanor plans to do last I heard)
If your accepting request during or after your upgrade. I would love to be able to put unique sound profiles for each creature in this mod. If this already exists please direct me to this information.
Love this mod. It is the core of what makes my server what it is. I am excited to see it continue.

Very true. I only responded in the first place due to having to field similar questions at my job recently and not being able to ignore it due to these being clients rather than people who get this stuff for free.

OMG OMG OMG your going to update! Yes thank you god I love your mod and I really needed it for my Role-play modded server. This is the only mod I really like when it come to just adding mobs. Even if I wish it had more male models, it's Still the best mod I can think of when it comes to making the world that much more deadly and cool. I know you're working on 1.7, So best of luck and I hope to see your mod out soon XD
I am definitely not looking forward to picking this up again. But at the same time the reason why I am not enthusiastic is because of how intimidating the 1.7.x update looks like. Do note that I have made no attempts to update the code nor have I touched anything yet associated with the mod. Perhaps my attitude may change when I start getting my hands dirty.
Have you considered perhaps open-sourcing it? If you are not motivated to take the project forward, you might be able to pass it off to somebody who is. It's not a coward's way out; mDiyo did it to Tinker's construct, PowerCrystals did it to MFR (twice, I think) and so forth. People have lives. We understand.
It was a truly great mod. I was going to use it in an entry into a modpack competition, but then was told that the mod-pack had to be 1.7.10 compatible, so I had to drop it. I was very sad.
Do what you need to. We all know you have a life and other interests, so no pressure, okay?

I'll be honest up to this point I have made little progress so far. Not because I have no idea on what to to do or I have the lack of time but because I still have not been able to pick up Minecraft again. I recently was introduced to play a game called "Don't Starve" (not played it since early access) and ended up spending my entire holiday making mods for it. I realized I tend to make mods (and even maps) for games I currently play. As for Minecraft, I have not touched it for almost a year now.
Basically I am waiting to feel the mood to pick up Minecraft again and spend a chunk of my time modding it, like every game I tend to pick up and feel the need to make mods for if I am capable of doing it. Forgive my attitude, but it seems this is how I work.
For people who have been asking if/when I will open source it; probably when I myself have thrown in the towel or if I can stop being lazy and actually set-up a GitHub :unsure:.
Yeah its normal. mDiyo the original author of Tinkers' construct and Natura doesn't have interrest in mc anymore. (not much Afaik) but that happens when you play it too much.
I do want to say. I have tried to revive a modpack from mDiyo called Magic Maiden. (Questing maiden on the ftb launcher (codename: Maiden))
but I got stuck a bit because I cant find a mod that can replace Grimoire of Gaia 2.
It balanced the modpack a bit with it being a bit harsh on startup (In magic maiden that is) but good throughout. and I cant find another mod that does the same.

GoG was there for variety, challenge, and needing maid soldiers to deal with mobs. The pack doesn't work without it. (the pack being Magic Maiden. Maids being from LittleMaidMob mod)

Meanwhile, I found a pretty cool japanese mod that has a lot of common with this mod.
It contains quite a few mobs that have a very similar theme (like a skeleton girl, creeper girl, ect.) and has really cool looking weapons/armor/ textures in general too. It's obviously not the same as GoG but it's still the best replacement I could find.
