When I use this mod and optifine, It makes items like swords, bows, pickaxes, seeds, ingots, and other items invisible. You can see the durability bar and the number of that item in the stack, but the item is invisible.

do you have the newest version (v1.3.3)? supposedly, the bug is fixed. It's possible however that it still doesn't work. I haven't personally tested it

Special:blinds and summons duplicate eyes arround him, turning himself into 8 smaller eyes ( about the size of his eye but no flesh around the eye) and they circle you and slam into you. (this is how you defeat him and is only activated until about 6 hearts of health left.)
Special: summons skeletons from the ground with a variety of weapons
Drop: an eye egg (looks like a slime with an eye inside) and you can either take the egg and hatch it ( place and right click and have a smaller version of the ghast that floats around and you can heal by right clicking with gunpowder) or you can take the egg on the ground and smash it with the mallet from the mutant zombie and you get an eye hat that when you put it on the eye is ripped open and you can see mobs/bosses through walls.

I had the same problem. what i did was just installed a texture pack and then uninstalled it. the items are all normal when you change the texture pack. hope this helps!
Guys don't beg at hippo to finish other mutants.You know it takes like a year from starting a mutant to finishing one.He haven't even put the poll there yet.Right now just give him ideas.It might help make things go quicker.

Fire Pillar Strike
The mutant blaze will use its pillars to smash the player.
Death
When it dies,it will first gather energy,then explodes,making its pillars scattered.It will damage the player if a pillar hits him.
Abilities of the Mutant Blaze:
:Like a regular blaze,it can float around.
:Its pillars blocks arrows making it resistant to arrows
:It randomly ignites a random area
there should be a mutant zombie pigmen and mutant spider and mutant iron golem or i would love to see a mutant blaze or ghast >:3 or a mutant squid, mutant skeleton or mutant non hostile
I think I found a bug in the newest version. It causes item images to disappear, but not all of them. I am only using your mod and the latest version of forge, so it isn't an incompatibility.
Hey Hippo, it seems that everyone on this forum wants the mutant skeleton next, so I'm going to assume that that's what you're going to do.
1) Take EVERYdayimMEH's Idea for the mutant skeleton and give it to the wither skeleton. I think that wings just would be better for the wither skeleton that the normal one, and a big scythe even more so, since the wither skeleton already has a sword and the normal one has a bow. But at least use his idea at all, please. It'd be uber badass!
2) I already posted this, but That was when you were working on the ME: the mutant skeleton should have a big crossbow or rocket launcher or something and a range of 100 blocks or so, also, the mutant spider jockey (both mobs mutants) should be a skeleton drider ( again, a drider is like a centaur except that it's a spider from the waist down instead of a horse.)
3)While were on the topic, have you seen the spider in the second video of "an eggs guide to minecraft"? Make the mutant spider's legs like that.
oh, and this may be a bit obvious, but the mutant wither skeleton should have a moderately greater chance of dropping and/or drop more of the wither head.
Again I almost forgot! I noticed that in the mod showcases the mutants don't drop any experience (or at least, not enough to notice over the hulk hammer or egg or whatever.) You'd think that they'd drop a crap ton!
One last thing, I've noticed that some people have suggestions for mutant passive mobs, but I don't see how that would work. Would the pig breathe fire and drop heart-attack-bacon? Would the chicken shout "cock-a-doodle-d@mn-you!" or something? (I know you said you plan to make a mutant for nearly every mob, but people sometimes use that word to refer to just the hostile ones.)sorry if this post was too long!)I don't like how have to craft chemical X when it's a thrown potion.

that you can ride into battle, having ram mobs with tusks like a boar!
So I redownloaded it, and I still get the same crash.
Could it be an ID conflict?
