I ran into a new problem. When I logged back on my minecraft, my creeper egg was gone. I killed another mutant creeper to get the egg, but it won't let me pick it up. It just makes the noise it's supposed to make when you pick it up. I can't get any eggs.
I found a bug too, if a mutant creeper manages to die, the egg will still drop and when it hatches, the mutant minion will run around in circles doing nothing until it sees you. Kinda cute and funny bug lol.

And some ideas, the creeper breaks far too many blocks, maybe decrease that a little, because they are not ultra rare/
The mutant zombie should go down on 1 knee and extent it's arm to the ground, as if it's about to start a running race, and then it will barrage forward moving a bit faster than sprint speed, and breaking anything except bedrock, obsidian, ore blocks, and mossy stone, as he goes. He will only do this when he can't reach you, sort of like the mutant creeper, how it will jump into the air on occasion.
And i think you should make them spawn ALOT rarer, and perhaps in sort of dungeons? Like underground dungeons or something, for a more civil boss fight, or you could make them naturally like what Marv said, however i don't like the idea of brewing the potions as that would modify base class files, maybe make it possible via using ghast dna with any mob? xD
And what do you have planned for the zombie drops? a zombie tooth that when consumed will apply a bunch of buffs and debuffs and will change your model to a mini version of the zombie boss? xD I'm joking, but good luck!

I don't know why you can't pick it up, but I'll see if I can fix the issue of the egg disappearing. Beware, sometimes, eggs may drop into the blocks they are on. This is a minecraft glitch, so if this happens, I'm sorry :/

You sure you have the files in the right place? You can simply move the whole zip into the mods folder inside .minecraft, if it makes it any easier

Since you're planning on adding a config file for the next update, I suggest you should add an option which allows you to toggle the Mutant creeper's death explosion on and off.
I really love this mod but the only thing that annoys me is that the Mutant creeper destroys the terrain when it dies cause it's pretty annoying to patch everything up every time you kill it and it makes me personally not even want to fight it, rather run away from it so maybe you can add an option which prevents it from being able to destroy blocks (not from sucking you in and blowing up though) .
Also I suggest you should make it drop XP but only while it's trying to suck you in which would add a little bit of challenge trying to get XP from it.
And I also if you ever add a Mutant spider, you should make it spit poison clouds at the player if that's possible.

I guess I could do that but I don't want creeper block damage to be completely gone.
1.4 is incredibly easy to update to, i had a go at it yesterday and i got it done in about 24 minutes for a mod i'm working on.

My most highest watched video by far. Needless to say I cannot wait until this is updated with the zombie XD
Yeesh, I should've backed up my world. This thing stalked me, killed my villagers and golem, destroyed my farm. And several parts of my large village, all up until I loured it away to a forest, of which the end result was the death of 4 of my wolves. XD Epic work man, this creeper is one of the hardest mobs I've had to fight, can't wait for your mutant zombie to fight.
after mutant zombie and enderman, you should make a mutant spider and a skeleton (both together so you can have a mutant spider jockey)and i kinda think the mutant zombies animations look like a mix of the hulk and the tank

the mutant enderman should look like slenderman alot! he should have tenticals come out of his back but unlike slenderman have them touch the ground, then the enderman should be able to grab you and trap you, and the enderman should be lifted off the ground because of the tentacles, and the enderman should use blocks to destroy other blocks by having them smash the block they are holding,then have them teleport, and when they do they have an explosion effect, the mutant skeleton should have a golden sword in each hand and they should jump high and force you away when they land, but when they land they take defence and fall into a pile of bones where you cant hurt them, then they should build back, if they raise their swords lightning will strike you, the mutant spider should be able to trap you in shot webs, and they should do a super jump and dive on the web and break it as you take damage, they should be able to summon cave spides as the mutant enderman should summon normal endermen, the mutant jockey should have both of the spiders and skeletons powers, and some of its own, like climbing cielings and droping on you, and traping you in a spider web and shocking you at the same time. enough said, hope my ideas are useful
