I thought I'd let you know, I tried out the 1.4.6 version of the mod (I haven't updated yet). The zombie and creeper obey the gamerule, so I'm guessing the Endermen will too. Thanks for the awesome mod. ^.^
I noticed how defeating the mutant creeper gives you two potential rewards (pet creeper or creeper shard) while all the other mutants only have one reward.
2) I already posted this, but That was when you were working on the ME: the mutant skeleton should have a big crossbow or rocket launcher or something and a range of 100 blocks or so, also, the mutant spider jockey (both mobs mutants) should be a skeleton drider ( again, a drider is like a centaur except that it's a spider from the waist down instead of a horse.)
3)While were on the topic, have you seen the spider in the second video of "an eggs guide to minecraft"? Make the mutant spider's legs like that.
oh, and this may be a bit obvious, but the mutant wither skeleton should have a moderately greater chance of dropping and/or drop more of the wither head.
Again I almost forgot! I noticed that in the mod showcases the mutants don't drop any experience (or at least, not enough to notice over the hulk hammer or egg or whatever.) You'd think that they'd drop a crap ton!
One last thing, I've noticed that some people have suggestions for mutant passive mobs, but I don't see how that would work. Would the pig breathe fire and drop heart-attack-bacon? Would the chicken shout "cock-a-doodle-d@mn-you!" or something? (I know you said you plan to make a mutant for nearly every mob, but people sometimes use that word to refer to just the hostile ones.)sorry if this post was too long!)

I think chemX should be brewed, too. Or made in like a cauldron or something cool like that.
I think I found a bug in the newest version. It causes item images to disappear, but not all of them. I am only using your mod and the latest version of forge, so it isn't an incompatibility.
Actually, I think it's forge. I had that problem a while ago, too. See if optifine helps.
When i installed minecraft forge (recommended) and put Mutant creatures (zip) file in mods folder. i loaded my minecraft and appears a black screen. what should i do?
I want to try and make a mod pack[if i can figure out how]that has creepy,mutant paranormal stuff if i can,can i use this mod?[oh can you give me some recenmedations for the mod pack too!:D i'll need it!

the bug is happening with forge and optifine, but supposedly one of the forge downloads doesn't have the problem. I'm not sure which on it is, however

yeah, it works on servers just install It in both your server and your minecraft client

Do you think you could give me an error report? there are some programs on the internet that can play minecraft in the console, and then you can save the error report that happens at a blackscreen

The config file was messed up (just a bunch of rectangles) so I deleted it and re-installed the mod. It worked! I think there was some kind of problem with config file generation in the previous version I had (I believe it was 1.3.1)

Alrighty, so here is my issue. Forgive me if this has already been discussed, I didn't want to sift through 120 pages to find mention of an issue similar to mine. So, I have magic Launcher, and I have Forge already loaded in the active mods list. However, when I add the Mutant Creatures mod in, it says No mods found. My game also crashes if I extract the mod files and copy them to the directly to the Jar with forge in magic. It also crashes when BOTH the forge and MCM are loaded directly into the Jar. I have the files for the minecraft "mod" folder in there, however, the readme doesn't help me at all for this. What else do I need to do?
